That is exactly what i noticed watching the NE/Pitt game. Pitt was able to play man to man defense against NE, because NE did not have a serious one on one deep threat to allow Brady to throw over the top. If NE still had Randy Moss, the results of that game probably would have been different.
ya man Pitt exposed a big weakness for the Pats- and this is why a team like the Jets can give the Pats trouble with their tight man-to-man coverage- the Ravens offense had no deep threats last year but they brought in some speedsters and I like them to pay dividends this week

Maybe but they will still lose. This game will decide the division most likely and Flacco wont have confidence in himself. And the Steelers have the best pass defense in the NFL right now and it's no fluke. And no way in hell beating the Pats was a bad thing. LOL! it gives the Steelers more confidence than the Ravens. IF Flacco starts bad like he did yesterday they will not come back on that D. they arent the Cardinals thats for sure. The week 1 game was the fluke. 7 turnovers by Pitt and that wont happen again thats for sure. Ben is playing better right now than he ever has and the offensive line is also playing great giving him plenty of time to throw. they will come out and throw on Balt like they did yesterday. And just look at their record at home in night games. not sure exactly what it is but they almost never lose. And the revenge factor couldnt be bigger for Pitt
huge steeler fan here... i agree with alot your saying but best pass defense is not true... ya sure stats say that but cant go off the pats game... they finally got away with zone and went with man on man which steelers never do... and last thing they want to do is man up with boldin... i feel steelers will win this game.. i dont c ben throwing 3 picks and fumbling the ball 2 times... steelers win sunday.... i hope.... gl either way bator...

Flacco overrated.??..read Baltimore websites, the guy is NOT overrated...very criticized here in Baltimore.
Perhaps in Balty but i'm saying in general by the 'talking heads'...even Ben has been criticized in the 'burgh...nature of the beast...let's not even talk about Kordell who almost took them all the way...he's still mental from the abuse he took from the Steeler Nation

The Jaguars and Titans have good defenses at home, Pitt has a good D but they cannot stop the deep bomb very well and the Ravens many players that can attack them in that fashion as well as Boldin in short yardage situations- Boldin won't let Taylor bully him the way he did against Welker
...however, fucko has to get the ball to them... nonetheless. i'm very much so looking forward to this one..and hopefully Ben's record gets even better vs Fucko and Balty.

Mtbaker-did you really call WAS a solid team? Yikes...personally im on the PIT side of this matchup for two reasons. 1. Flacco is garbage this year 2. It's really hard to beat your biggest rival twice in one season if you're the ravens. I will say this though I do think the ravens are a very good team. They could definitely win this game I have no doubt about that. And I do think public perception about this team is way off just bc they played a couple bad games vs bad teams. They will show up for this game and I think its a one.score game. I got an early line at PIT -3 luckily bc I knew this would get bet up after beating pats and ravens bad performances. BOL to ravens and pit backers it'll be a fun one either way.

Usually would agree wth Balt. but they are waaaay too inconsistent right now. Steelers looked good against Pats. Best bet is to sit back and enjoy the game.

The Steelers just beat the Patriots. The Ravens, lost to the Jaguars and barely vanquished the Cardinals. Yet, this spread is just -3 with the public pounding Pitt. Doesn't anyone you find this curious?

Really nice thoughts on the game buddy. I agree it's Ravens or nothing. Last week was the week to bet on Pittsburgh IMO. It's funny how things change, last week the Steelers couldn't beat a good team and now this week the Ravens are overrated and Flacco is junk.
Not sure I can pull the trigger (just a thing I have about taking short road dogs on SNF) but lean that way. On the other hand it's not like the Ravens haven't played big games in hostile territory before, they might be the most prepared and experienced team in the league in this role.

Best plays of the week are Cincinnati +3>>> they will beat Tennessee outright...Tennessee will barley score on Cincinnati's stellar defense and Chris Johnson sucks.... Green Bay -6>>> Green Bay is 3-0 in their past 3 seasons after a bye, have the most electric offense in the NFL, and after San Diego showed they cant get anything but field goals on Monday, I see Green Bay winning by 14 at least

Thanks man! Other than the Jets no team is as equipped as the Ravens to win a game on the road and I think they get it done here. Haha gotta love how public perception changes so quickly in the NFL, gotta love it

meh the Steelers don't match up well with this year's Ravens team and they have done nothing outside of the Pats game against quality competition this year

The Ravens have speed and physical wideouts so the Steel DB's won't have an easy time gettin right up on Balty wideouts- don't get me wrong I think the Steelers are good team with a legit D, which is why I took the Under against the Pats, but I don't think they are better than Balty, and Balty is desparate for the division and catching Pitt at the right time

ya Washington is a solid team. They were 3-1 and have beaten some decent teams this year. At home they'll be able to hang with Alex Smith who is nothing special. I doubt Gore and the Niners D to play as well as they have as they will wear down at the end of the game. The Skins have the D to compete with the Niners and I think they can run it on what should be a tired Niners D

Mt, your thoughts on Miami +4, i think they will beat KC SU. Miami plays better on the road, and they should have beat the Giants SU last week. Miami,in my opinion is better than what they record says. I disagree with the old Parcells saying"You are what your record says you are"

I think the Dolphins have a great chance to win SU, I just think that it's tough to win in Arrowhead and the Phins don't have the best pass D with Vontae Davis out but I lean Phins for sure just don't trust em at this price- GL buddy
