if you don't mind, could you get into your thoughts on how you calculate how much value you place on a certain line change- I see u placed 22c value on the half here. How'd you get that? I'm often torn between paying say 7c to sell off 7 or something. What are things you take into consideration? This probably can be a lenghthy topic, but help would be appreciated.

Dude - I just fell from the upper deck of the SD stadium - cant make it to the palm.

Honestly - somebody else might be better to answer this from a mathematical / historical perspective...

I attach a value based on the total - 24 cents and a total of 38 is in the middle.  So a total of 45 would make it about 22 cents, a total of 34 would make it about 26 cents....

Not very scientific...

Which episode is that from..it came on yesterday so I know, but curious if you do.

GL on the game, I would rather pay the coin and forget the angle and make less on the bet personally. I know it goes against odds and is giving some vig to the house, but its just a personal viewpoint I have.

Are you referring to the falling from the upper deck statement?

I was just watching ESPN, and they reported from the stadium that a 60 year old man really fell from the upper deck - and then Stuart Scott really said - totally deadpan - "we hear he still has a pulse"....

As far as the 3 to 3.5 goes, its a very close decision, you are not going to go broke either way....

I play a ton of picks and in the grand scheme of things I am ok once every two weeks getting off the hook, plus 5 Dimes usually has resonable juice.

This game will probably be another in-gamer like last week for me.

First off, I think P&F is one of the best shows on TV - adult or child.  Their writing is so creative I am sometimes amazed.  And Doofenshmirtz is just a perfect character - the lovable evil guy who can never get it right... - I love his backstory of his childhood etc...

The episode is "my nemesis - Peter the Panda"?  (we are guessing)

(I have to admit, I had to ask my 8 year old for help)

IMO its worth more the lower the total...  seems to make intuitive and mathematical sense... though i have heard others i respect say that it can't be determined.  to me the higher the total the more volatility and the less value all key numbers have.... by your post i would conjecture you feel at least similar
