Jacksonville doesn’t seem equipped to cover anyone.
Having
already placed starting cornerbacks Rashean Mathis and Derek Cox on IR,
the Jaguars lost backup Will Middleton (knee) on Saturday. That means
rookie Kevin Rutland likely will make his first start against the
Chargers. Ashton Youboty, signed off the street on Nov. 15, will make
his second start on the opposite side.
The Jaguars also will be
without defensive ends Matt Roth (concussion) and Aaron Kampman
(hamstring). Defensive tackle Terrance Knighton (ankle) is questionable
after missing the last three games.
I'd like to know people's take on this.

Sounds like it's a trial of atrision? Problem we HAVE is who is not out or left to battle. Chargers are dwn as well Personally it's a toss up. Lean Chargers only b.c they have more O weapons vs hm dog which generally means Jak 1st and Charger 2nd. Just looking anyways

Jax is a mess and banged up like a mofo, I think they lead the league in players on IR, they fired their HC Del Rio and their WR coach, and the owner sold the team. Their offense can't move the ball worth a shit. Now they play the Chargers on MNF. SD is also banged up like a mofo, especially on their offensive line. I read on Pro Football Weekly that says Rivers is banged up also....playing w/ a "sternum injury" that no one is really talking about, that has really affected his play, and his career is going downhill bigtime. SD is on a 6 game losing streak, and hasen't covered the spread in in 6 weeks and are 2-9 ATS for the year!!!! HC Norv Turner is definately on the hot seat. NOW SD is laying 3 points on the road.......I don't know which way to lean as both teams are in shambles as of now.....I'm gonna have to do alot of thinking on this one.......SD? Jax? yea the injuries I think hurts both teams but SD is getting back a WR floyd which they really need and jags cant score more then 14pts a gm so i can see 28-14 SD gm, got SD at -7.5 at +190...just cant see how SD doesnt win by 10, and with all the injuries on jags defense this helps the struggling rivers out BOL

This game is mutually a toss up.........I don't have to bet this game, did good this weekend. Start of the new week for me today. With walt anderson as the white hat who has a total dislike for afc west except for denver and afc south except for indy. His main love is afc east teams where they thrive with him. Dogs have thrived in games with him involving afc west games and afc south games. Might be better to lay off, play small or make a 2nd half play...gl guys.

Which tells me SD & Over.Over with a rookie QB on a team emphasizing the run, and in turmoil, is too chancy.Will SD take advantage of Jag’s injuries?If they feature their go-to-guys early (VJack, Agates) then it will be an easy cover.Opponents have been rolling their coverages towards Jackson and Gates and Norv simply forgot about them and featured the complimentary players.Which has kept SD in most games long enough to lose the game.Now with their back against the wall, and a slim chance of winning AFC West, SD should play inspired.There is more distraction/uncertainty with everyone involved with Jags this week thus game was LIKELY not the main focus.SD should romp unless Norv’s game plan keeps Jags in the game?I will likely make SD my largest bet of the year.GLT to all.
