Vick was young and stupid and made mistakes like we ALL have.  He didn't enjoy killing dogs he enjoyed the money he was making off of it.  It was more of a way for him to keep his friends taken care of.  Where he came from this shit was normal people dont understand that and prob never will.  He took his punishment like a man admitted what he did was stupid but people will always hate.

the dog fighting was cultural, no way around it.

Vick is a better QB than Kolb, hands down. Just start Vick already and everyone shut up.

yeah he's an asshole but as a packer fan, i was on the edge of my seat yesterday watching the game.  I think he's easily the best option (and maybe only option with Kolbs concussion) at this point for the eagles.  His ability to run will create huge plays for D Jackson and Maclin deep down field... Not sure how the pack kept that in check for the majority of the game.  If Vick starts that game yesterday the outcome might have been different....

I don't know how Donovan was let go to give Kolb a chance. This is far different than Farve was letting go for Rodgers.

At least puts Vick in. He will cover more game than Kolb and help sale out every Eagles game.

good coaches. i don't consider jim mora jr a good coach. the only good coach he ever played under while w/ falcs was reeves. mora is shit. falcons  didn't have receivers like the eagles have now. all they have was dunn & crumpler. vick carried those falcons.

eagles have weapons, are young and very fast. vick is the perfect match. now if reid or whoever is calling the plays would stop making bonehead 4th qtr calls eagles will be real explosive.

Just because his name isn't Manning, Brees or Ryan doesn't mean he isn't a good QB or a good passer. Vick throws ropes running backwards 40 yds downfield accurately.

All smart Eagles fans want to keep starting Kolb.  He's a young QB they want to develop with the young skill players in place.  Vick may be the best option right now because of his mobility and the major OLine issues Philly has.  Vick will f-up more games than he wins.  Eagles front office is in this for the long haul.  Vick will continue to be a big part of their O this year, but the Kolb project has only just begun.
