It would only be race thing if the people making the decisions favorred their own race and there existed a double standard. That in similar situations the individual who was the minority was treated differently/more negatively (by NFL, society, media etc) and the individual who was in the majority (the race in power and the race that has the most people) was treated in a less harsh manner...
If that is what happened then we can play that card...
