I wouldn't be surprised at all if minny goes into the lions den this sunday night and just like daniel walks out without a scratch 

Minnesota has a ton of weapons on Offense..Jefferson,  Addison, TE Hotchenson, and especially Aaron Jones BUT I don't Trust Sam Darnold...besides the Detroit Coordinator coaching advantages, this just Might be the Biggest difference in this great game

.Darnold has been playing lights out..Can he keep it up? Viqueens definitely have the defensive advantage with all Lions injuries on D...BUT everything is right in front of Lions to march to New Orleans. They need that Bye to heal.

Should Minnesota WIN,  they will march into SB..

Gonna be BEST Regular Season finale, probably in our lifetime..two 14 win teams..unreal ..

 You make some good points but as far as the coordinators i give the nod on  the defensive side to flores over glenn  minny's defense was horrible before flores came there. ben johnson is great but it's still close there too with o'connell calling the plays for minny. it should be a great game and it will be a bitter pill for the loser to swallow and  have to be the 5 seed with a 14-3 record.

Don’t discount the ratings! Lions have gotten some of the highest ratings this year. The Monday night game was the highest of the entire year, and yet it was a completely meaningless game! And then there is the Thanksgiving game:

“The Lions and Bears averaged 37.5 million viewers, a record for the early Thanksgiving Day slot and an 11% bump from last year's Lions-Packers game."

 Will HE be able to the Entire situation?? When has he done it before?? He's having a Career Year and he has some great weapons like I mentioned above but IN front of that hostile DETROIT Ford Field crowd for all the Marbles..

You have to side with the More experienced QB Goff...Now if he can get his team out front and get a lead...Minnesota has a Great Chance. 

But Darnold has been a ONE year wonder..if Vikings win Sunday they'll go to New Orleans..NFL can't go wrong if either of those teams make it, hopefully athegainst BUFFALO. That's the NFL's dream matchup not KC going for a 3 peat

 Which only proves my point.  No one is scared of Sam. Even when he does well.  It consider a fluke.

I can't get past the last 5 Vikings road games:

Lost 20-30 at Rams

Won 12-7 at Jax

Won 23-13 at TN

Won 30-27 in OT at da Bears

Won 27-24 at Seahags.

That isn't exactly murderers row, and I don't think Rams are much more than an average team (in an average division).

I think with Detroit's ability to get the ball out quick it neutralizes Flores' crazy blitzing tendencies...MN has one of the weakest pass D's statistically, so I think, at home, Lions get at least 35...gut also tells me Darnold makes one or more untimely turnovers...if the Lions had their starting defense, I would have given up to 7...with the depleted D, I feel 2.5 is a cheap price to pay for a home team, on Sunday night, where I trust the home team qb more as well...let us not forget MN kicking issues last week...these kickers can run hot and cold so he may feel some extra pressure in such a huge game, and on the road...

I like the Vikings to win this meaningless game.

Yeah, meaningless game  cuz all this game will decide is who hosts the NFC championship game, and oh by the way Detroit is a perfect 8-0 on the road

That’s not how it works. If the loser wins the 4 vs 5 matchup they will face the number one seed in the divisional round, not in the NFC championship. In other words, according to your scenario, the Lions will face the Vikings in Minnesota if they win the wildcard game. 

Ahh, there's another wildcard to consider. The 6 seed Packers will advance and play the 1 seed, that leaves the 5 seed to play the 2 seed in the divisional round.  The other 3 Rams, Tampa and Washington are all DOA
