Thanks for your comments fellas!!
I am hearing alot of great things about the Texans TY locally and I don't want to get up in all the hype but I would like to take a moment to feel you fellas in a little bit.
This is the most talented team as far as coaching and players we have ever had. And...it's Kubiak 2nd season and a much better schedule TY than the previous 4 seaons where they had to face more playoff bound teams. This is an upgraded team TY that went from giving up 400+ yds per game to around 310ypg the L8 games last season...so their defense have improved tremendously. Those numbers are a team effort and you don't see it on the sack columns and so forth and add another #1 DL to their roster.
Plus, Mike Sherman is taking complete control of the offense TY. Kubiak called most of the plays LY and any plays that Mike Sherman had LY had to go through Kubiak. Sherman is calling all the plays TY full-time.
The confident factor around the clubhouse here in the pre-season is totally different than what I have seen as a fan the L4 seasons. We have a new breed of players with positive attitudes and a offensive minded coach in Kubiak. This team is so geared toward offense than the Capers days who is all about defense. We are going to see some fire works TY. Keep an eye out for Jacoby Jones (WR). We do have alot of fire-power on offense TY.
......but that doesn't mean they are going to beat every team they are going to play TY.....I see the Texans being alot more comptetive on any given Sunday.
GL fellas..just wanted to give you fellas a heads up on my Texans.
BTW..all the starters are going to play close to 3qts and get most of their rest on the last game of the pre-season.

So what if Houston knows what is coming and they just cant stop it?
Is Chester Pitts going to play? Who is the first stringer LT? Is it Jordon Black or Salaam?
Chester Pitts will not win the game for the Texans nor will he lose the game for the Texans. Your going to be surprised by what you will see after the game. Cowboys could win, but it won't be a blowout. The homefield edge is huge for the Texans.
I thought the Broncos took it easy on them and Wade Phillips wanted to showed in the first two preseason games he is for real. That could backfire against the Texans or their L2 pre-season games because he has opened up the playbook. Being a rookie coach, Wade Phillips is testing the water and letting the boys play.
That's why I feel the Texans will also open up their playbook in this matchup to match the Cowboys quarter for quarter. It's hard telling who is really coaching/playing and who is not in the pre-season. But I feel because it's a battle of a cock fight between McNair and Jones, we'll see high intensity football between the two teams.
I believe Kubiak will unleash M. Williams this game and his defense. He's been holding back on Williams because he is recovering from injuries sustained LY. He played hurt in the 2nd half of the season...something he didn't complained much about LY. He said he is 100% so the coaches been taking it easy on him in the first 2 games.
Just my opinion. GL to you.
