Lamar Jackson is Mr. October... Probably will have as many playoff wins as MVPs shortly. That shiftiness that he so much depends on is going to diminish as time goes on. If he was gonna do it, he would've did it by now... Joe Burrow hurt last year, this year done in by pathetic defense, eventually they figure it out and close the gap with the Ravens. If Pittsburgh ever figures our the qb position, they'll gain on them as well. Ravens had 2 great chances, KC is vulnerable and Buffalo won due to lack of mistakes last week. Mahomes runs circles around Lamar, way smarter and talented. 3 SBs and 7 consecutive AFC Championship games, say what you want about him.

None of it has to do with football...Anyone with eyes and a brain knows that Lamar Jackson is a generational talent and one of the best that has ever played at the position. I will even say this put him with a better coach and probably would've already had a Superbowl...... Harbough ain't it all imma say

Just bumping this again. Another good year for LJ and the Ravens, but nothing great. He still just can't get it done when it really counts. His playoff record now stands at 3-5 and he has yet to win a conference championship. My prediction for next year - both Henry and LJ get hurt and BAL squeaks into the playoffs, where they lose in the WC round.
You are an idiot. Lamar had a great year. It's not his fault that the Ravens didn't go to the Super Bowl. Blaming him, and failing to recognize what a great season he had shows that you know very little about football.

Bumping this again. My prediction from a year ago fell short - the Ravens didn't lose in the WC round this year, because they didn't even make the dance. LJ just can't get it done.... again. It's like deja vu. Maybe LJ missing 1/4 of the season didn't help things, but again, when he takes contact on 27% of the plays, his injuries are going to add up to missed time. Such is the nature of his game. It's inevitable. Is the Baltimore front office going to finally make some changes? Trade Lamar while he still has some value? Maybe move on from Harbaugh while they're at it? Some say Lamar's window is closing fast, but I say it was never really open to begin with. Dude isn't ever going to lead a team to the promised land. It's just not in him.

You make some solid points about LJ’s style and durability concerns. Mobile, run-first QBs can be exciting, but the injury risk and limited passing consistency are real issues in the playoffs. Teams need to weigh upside versus long-term reliability before committing huge contracts.

@bluecompass
Lol you've been carrying around this poison of your own self fulfilling prophecy for 3 years now. You're stuck in the "Lamar can't throw" remedial mindset and you just have to be right don't you, but you've been proven wrong over and over and while he's been playing well consistently since you created your thread, you've waited in the shadows like a rat for a gotcha moment. Since your initial statement Jackson has won another mvp, should have been 2, and has claimed the sole distinction of having the highest passer rating in NFL history. You truly are pathetic.

Lamar Jackson is the first quarterback in NFL history to lose a game after throwing multiple go-ahead 4th quarter touchdowns of 50+ yards
goodbye Harbaugh

many have the sickness on here. I am willing to bet blue compass is also a triple trumper, which means he probably had Cracker Barrel for dinner last night and McDonald’s for breakfast this morning. It also means his opinion is deluded due to worshipping of white supremacy. He probably also thinks a black QB has never won a superbowl before either.

No poison here. For his career, LJ is a slightly better than average passer. The Ravens paid him $185 million of guaranteed money. And what did they get in return? A SB run? Nope. A guy who plays 17+ games a year? Nope. A phenomenal team leader who inspires his teammates and makes them better? Nope. A guy who can put a team on his back and will them to a victory when it counts? Nope. Yes, he brings some positives to the table, but we all know the results aren't worth $185 million. Especially for a guy that takes as many hits as he does, due in large part to his style of play. He turns 29 years old tomorrow, and all of those hits are starting to add up. How many games did he miss this year? 4? Is it realistic to think he's going to play more games per season as he hits his 30s?

Prime Vick > Lamar = Any day
I'm not sure I agree with this. I think Vick was a little quicker, better able to avoid the big hits, and a better leader, on and off the field. But I think LJ has a more durable body and is a better passer. From interviews I've seen, both Vick and LJ are thoughtful and measured. As 7272 pointed out, it's almost impossible to be stupid and be a successful QB in the NFL.

You are so predictable. You are a huge fan of Lamar. We get it. That's fine. But until you realize that he's not great. He's not a Hall of famer. And that even though you keep believing he is top 5 all time, he never will be. And yet instead of having an open conversation about it, you always go back to racist remarks. And thus the reason you end up in the Penalty Box (again). You just don't get it....

And yet another year gone by with the 2 time MVP taking a walk. He did play well Sunday night. All of that comes down to a rookie kicker. If Loop makes the kick switch Tomlin for Harbaugh's present spot? Such a small thing has big implications. I'll bet Aikman wants to speak to Harbaugh about the Miami job. If they have a chance to upgrade to him over the professor, he's gonna jump to get him.
Harbaugh is gone. He did win a SB without Lamar but multiple years couldn't get to one with him. I knew he was going to get hurt this year, he was just due, his style of play is going to get him hurt... I never seen him stand still and take sacks like this year. Is he still trying to prove he's a passer? He can throw the ball, much improved. Watching him Sunday night I saw no evidence he was hurt. The knee he took to the back a couple weeks ago didn't look that bad. He's got protection in front and in back. He's flakey, gives away $850K not showing up for voluntary participation. He's just so dedicated, can't be bothered with it. How's he every gonna win anything?

A person's EGO is one of the most powerful things in a person's life.
This entire thread is a great example showing where one just has to prove that they are right!

Putting you chips in with an entitled Lamar is an appetite for destruction. Lamar is a disease. Harbaugh will be alot better off without Jackson's bullsh*t. He will never win a S.B.
