The players wore her initials on their jerseys this year... yeah ok a nice touch.

I remember an emotional win by the Giants after Wellington Mara crossed over. Are the deaths of the top one percenters more tragic than the deaths of the ninety nine percenters? Is it the fallacy of the 'sacred blood'?

Anytime the family that signs your check has a loss in the same year you are in the Superbowl, I believe it has an impact in a positive way.

When Wellington Mara died in 2005, the Giants didnt even win the 1st playoff game of that season.............Mr Kraft is a big shot in the NFL but the only thing that scares me is Belichick's record of never losing twice in the same season to the same team.............I like the Giants & dont care what the pubic is on in this game.

It's an absolute joke.

Myra Kraft didn't even want Bob Kraft to buy the team.  She's a diminutive woman who doesn't know anything about football.

But if you're the owner, you can get your slaves to wear patches in remembrance of that rich woman.

It's disgraceful IMO.  It's embrassing.  But the players care, as I would, because you care about who signs your paycheck-as somebody here already said.

As for motivation, IMO it does the opposite, or nothing at all.  Playing for Myra Kraft is an absolute joke.

People think it is but in reality I doubt it has much of an effect. I mean Kraft is close to the team so maybe it does, but it's not like either of these teams need any more motivation....the better team will win

She had nothing to do with football, other than banning a player from playing for the Patriots (and it turns out the NFL) because of supposed violence against women.

The idea that football players, who are busy going after Kyle Williams because he had a bunch of concussions, should play for a rich woman who can run a soup kitchen, is beyond stupid.

I appreciate the responses. IMO, I do not understand how her passing would be a major factor in whether New England wins or loses.

Wont mean shit once the ball is kicked off but you know very well that the assholes in the media will be doing their part to remind us about Myra Kraft and how the Pats won for her spirit and a whole lotta yada yada. Ofcourse they'd have to win first.
