that they think he can win in Denver on MNF tonight?

just wondering...

ytd stats through 8 games:

throwing - 117-192 4 TD; 10 int
running (his fortay) 55-217 avg 3.9 ypc 2 touchdowns

Kyle Boller and Daunte Culpepper laugh at VY's numbers

i've watched him a few times this year and he scares no one. all he does is scramble right and look to one receiver and if the Titans cant run, they're dead which leads to...

denver is awful on rush D...everyone knows that. even GB ran for 150 vs them in denver but that isnt how green bay won their game. they won b/c favre hit 2 80 yd td passes. Denver bent but didnt break vs the run which shows that they are capable of locking down when they need to and forcing FG attempts.

denver will have to over commit to the run tonight to force vince young to throw the ball to win...which he cant do. shanahan is too smart (i hope) to design a gameplan any other way. they need to blitz him every down from his right side to force him left (make him uncomfortable)

Road games for Tennessee:

wins:

-@ Jax 13-10 <opening day...an anomoly to see Jax give up 284 on the ground but they did...even still Tenn only scored 13 points>
-@ NO 31-14 <Saints were in complete disarray in September>
-@ Houston 38-36 <they almost gave this one away in the 4th quarter to Sage Rosenfels>

losses:

-@ TB 13-10 <VY got hurt halfway through...i had TB that day as a pk or -2.5 i think>

They could easily be 1-3 on the road...but they are 3-1...strange league.

Denver is home tonight then on the road for 2 straight. Any chance of salvaging their season starts with a win tonight.

Waiting for the line to move down but getting Denver as a virtual PK at home on MNF is a luxury.

Henry is gametime decision, John Lynch will play.

Sorry for the ramblings...but i'm leaning Denver/under right now...will post a play later when i do lock in a line

Im leaning towards DEN. to and Vince does scare me, the only thing is he has no playmakers at the WR spot.. its all a bunch of scrubs playing that position... vince young may not have the stats but he is a winner and thats what really counts, there are athletes these days that are very good and have great stats but they never win anything, either because they dont have a lot of balls, they choke, they cannot rise to the occasion, they cant win the big game, vince young is none of those he is a competitor and a winner and always will be, they gets it done

i thought that any chance of denver getting their season back started with a win back vs gb on a monday night scenario and it didn&#x27;t happen....they gave the game away.  i&#x27;m just not convinced they will score, and if they don&#x27;t start well early this homefield advantage will disappear very quickly.  very tough to fade den in a near pick em because of the HFA, but i think it&#x27;s been overvalued as of late as shown by their home ats numbers.  there&#x27;s just something about vince in primetime; as stupid as it may sound that he plays differently in those situations, he just seems to transform himself.  gl koaj, i&#x27;m on the other side here

it&#x27;s the intangibles koaj.  from week to week he&#x27;s a work in progress and the investment is worth the chance you have with him healthy and in control.  &#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;i endorse vince because of the desire i believe he has to become better from each sundays performance.  mile high isnt the same as it was yrs back, when teams actually had a hard time getting a win.  and cutler?  he sux.  like in mlb when 2 starting pitchers are evaluated against the batters i will take vy over cutler everyday of the week including mnf.  but you know me..............no sides tonite.  i&#x27;ll take cutler fuckin up and vince being managed to not lose the game.

thanks for the comments guys - i know all about VY and his magic but i cant get it out of my head that his numbers stink and even bad QB's need to have good days in the pocket and he hasnt had any this year. almost as if he's regressed once opponents were able to gameplan for his scrambles to the right. there's only been one game this year where he has more TDs than turnovers (indy 1td, 0 picks)

tennessee is one of the biggest teams in the league...im curious to see how those big boys deal with the thin air

KOAJ, Vince is still hurting a little, but Fisher knows without him, they have absolutely no chance.  Even at 70% he provides a better opportunity to win, not because he can make a huge play at any given time, but because of the threat that he can make a huge play at any given time.  Because of that, teams have to respect his legs and have to always be weary of him.  &#xD;&#xA;All his wins are ugly, i dont really even know how they are challenging for a wild card right now.  One things for sure though, their defense is great.  Their ranked 3rd against the rush and 4th against the pass, good for 2nd overall in total defense.  Teams that great on the defensive side of the ball can beat you with their defense alone sometimes.  Denver has absolutely no homefield advantage anymore, Invesco Field is like how Lambeau was a few years ago, where we still thought that Green Bay had a HF advantage and we would still bet accordingly, when we had GB favoured by a FG or less, then finally GB started being a dog at home, and we couldnt believe that, so we would blindly bet that they wouldnt lose at home.  &#xD;&#xA;Titans with a win here can pretty much solidify themselves a WC birth at 7-3 and even give themselves an opportunity to get a home game as they would be tied with Pitt and Jax.  7th place is San Diego @ 5-5 right now.  You know The Chargers are going to challenge for a playoff spot.  They badly do not want to move down into the fight for 5th, 6th against a hot Cleveland team and an experienced San Diego team.  This is a game that they can win.  I think its very similar to the Browns-Ravens game.  I look for it to be close and then the Titans to pull it out because 1) they are a better team and 2) they need the win more.  The Broncos are done.
