GL. Miller is coming off a 16 carry and then a 18 carry game. He should match at least the lower of the 2. Dolphins actually ran the ball pretty well last week without dufus and nitwit. I'm pretty confident Dolphins win. I posted some of my thoughts in my thread earlier in the week. One thing I forgot to mention lw TB had no 3 and outs prior to overtime. Can't imagine this not regressing back towards the mean. I'm curious who the last rookie qb to do that is? Hopefully someone will do the research.

This offense is too dangerous to give Tannehill time. The offensive line needs to play well, its as simple as that.

Had the Fins pegged at 5-5 at this point, which they are.

With that being said, this is the first week all year I will not be betting on them. Carolina's Defense is just too tough.

If Patterson plays I expect this game to go under, way under.

Still fighting for the playoffs, and of the 100 teams fighting for the final wildcard, I truly believe Miami is the most dangerous of those teams.

I really have no idea how the Jets are going to score points this game. Miami's run defense is really good, against a one dimensional offense their run D will be dominate.

Do you trust Geno Smith to make big plays this week? Do you trust him to make plays with the game on the line?

8 of Miami's 11 games have been decided by 4 points or less which is a pretty insane number, so I expect nothing but a close game. If Miami plays like they did last week, the Jets will not score more than 10 points.

I was surprised the line was not Miami -1. The Jets have put up a bunch of stinkers this year, and Miami only has 1 in New Orleans. I fully expect Miami to dominate this game on defense, and Tannehill to do enough to win. I am feeling a 24-13ish Dolphins win.

Also if you are a teaser guy, Having Miami +7.5 or 10.5 is simply too good to pass up. If Miami loses, it will not be by more than a touchdown. I almost guarantee it.

The only other thing I have guaranteed in this thread is that the Dolphins won't start out 0-5, so take it for what its worth.

    Happy Thanksgiving.

Tannehill thru week 13 last year: 7 TDs, 12 INTs, 2500 yards.

Tannehill thru week 13 this year: 17 TDs, 13 INTs, 3100 yards.

Pretty interesting stat as I think that Tannehill's game last week was the best of his career ( 28-43, 331 yards, 2TDs, 1int.) The last two weeks I have been as happy with Tannehill as I have ever been. He looks comfortable and his accuracy is there (except on the very deep throws.

The last 4 games of the season last year, Tannehill threw for 5 TDs and 1 INT. From what I have seen the last two weeks, I expect his late season success to continue.

I don't like the under nearly as much this week as the previous few weeks. I can see Big Ben putting some points up and Miami as well as long as they convert even half of their opportunities. (6 times inside the Jets 50 in the 1st half last week, and only 6 points.)

Big Ben is definitely the player who has screwed me the most in the last 8 years. I expect nothing less than Miami to hold a small lead late in the 4th quarter and Big Ben the chance to screw me once again. This game will come down to how long Miami's D-line gives Ben and if they wrap it up. The Fins D-line has been playing good all year, and great the last few weeks. (shout out Oliver Vernon, his 3 sacks last week and his AFC defensive player of the week award.)

Tight one that can go either way. 24-20, Dolphins

I literally don't know what I would have done if that play counted. If they would have coughed that win up with the season on the line I might have stopped watching NFL until the playoffs started.

I'm at a loss for words. What a great game

Well thats 3 straight weeks I predicted Dolphins games almost perfect. I wonder if its a coincidence that the last 3 games have been 3 of the best of Tannehills career, and the last 3 weeks the offensive line has played really good. That 50 yard run by Tannehill on the read-option was sick. Is it possible Tannehill is 2nd in last years draft class only to Wilson now??

Miami plays New England at home this week and are 2.5 dogs. This is a game that I will most likely be laying off. I will probably only have the Dolphins in a teaser upto 8.5. This is a game Miami has to win, but have always struggled against the Patriots. I never feel comfortable having my money against Brady, especially with Miami's habit of blowing double digit leads. I expect nothing less than what Miami has done all year. A close game that is up for grabs and will come down to the final seconds.

As far as the over/under, I haven't seen it yet but it will obviously be around 45. If anything I would lean towards the over with how well Tannehill has been playing. I can see a 27-24 type game, and once again I'm sure Tom Brady will have the ball and a chance to win, and screw me..like usual.

I'm sure most people will be on the Pats as the Dolphins still don't get too much respect. Solid wins over the Bengals, Colts, Steelers, and Chargers. The Dolphins are playing really well, and even if they lose it won't be by more than 6 or 7 points.

Shout out to Daniel Thomas too. If you would have asked a random Dolphins fan before yesterday they would have told you how much they hate Thomas. I didn't understand it because he lost some weight this year and has really played well, yesterday was his breaking out game and he has been running much, much better than Lamar Miller this year.

A lot of haters when the season started, and I really think my predictions and projections for the Dolphins have been pretty spot on. Hopefully I'm helping some people out.

Predicition: 27-24 one way or the other. Whoever makes the most plays in the last few minutes will win. It just might be Ryan Tannehill

Let's not get too far ahead of ourselves. He is clearly better than Weeden and Griffin. Nick Foles was also in that draft. In my eyes Wilson doesn't have much more room for growth (no pun intended). Who the hell knows whats going on with Andrew Luck? Right now Luck is better, but Tanne has the higher ceiling. Dude's tough as nails. That first half last week against the Jets was his worst 2 quarters of the season and came out blazing the 2nd half. For all the pundits who continually leave him out of the best young qb conversation the guy is carrying this team. He can make any throw and its going to be fun watching him continue to grow and lead this team over the next 10+ years.

I don't know, If Tannehill had a good O-line all year he might have 25 touchdowns right now. What a huge improvement from year 1 to year 2.

Like I said in post 1, I read a bunch of stuff discussing how Tannehill has the drive to improve every single day, and thats exactly what he is doing.

    Who wins this week?

The end of 2011 Miami took a 17-0 lead in to half time only to see the NE score on 5 straight possessions and eventually win 27-24. Same thing happened again this year. Miami jumps out to a 17-0 lead. Up 17-3 at half that was the first time I can remember hearing Brady get booed at Foxboro. Extra motivation for Miami? I don't think so. At 10-3 NE is still playing for homefield. Miami for a wildcard. I could go on but I don't think Miami wins this one.

I think the script will flip this week.  Stevan Ridley will rip the fins apart in the 1st half going for 2 tds and over 100 yards in the first half alone.  Then after a year of disappointment and underproduction, Mike Wallace will come out and put a clinic on one of the best corners in the league for an epic comeback win and a career day for Wallace.   Thoughts on this happening earth lol?

Wallace usually only gets the ball on pre-determined plays where the ball is going to him before the play starts. Tannehill has much better chemistry with Hartline and Clay. Add to the fact that Wallace is usually doubled with a safety and it is much more likely that Clay or Hartline is the one putting on the 2nd half clinic if anything.

Please don't refer to Ryan Tannehill, the best quarterback the Miami Dolphins had have since Dan Marino as Ryan Pantihill.

No need for name calling a 2nd year QB with 20 TDs and 14 ints, when you have a picture of Matt Moore in your handle.

Also, you claim Miami could close the season 3-1, well if they win out they'd be closing out the season 5-0. Wallace has been improving, but he only had 2 catches last week and is still used mostly as a decoy.

Matt Moore's 2010 season in Carolina. Six games, 5 TDs, 10 INTs

Matt Moore is a good backup, but he doesn't have half the physical raw tools that Tannehill has. Tannehill is going to be the face of the franchise for the next 10 years, so if you don't like it you need to start liking a new team.

...and Olivier Vernon is the man, but he is benefiting from the fact that Cam Wake eats up double teams leaving Vernon 1 on 1.

The Dolphins also didn't "roll" in 2011 when Matt Moore made 13 starts, they went 6-7 and finished the season 6-10

EARTH WAKE .... READ UP KID...

    2011

Moore was signed by the Dolphins on July 28, 2011 to back up Chad Henne. He switched numbers, from 3 to 8. On October 2, 2011 Moore entered the game against the Chargers in the 1st quarter after Henne went down with a shoulder injury. He completed 17 of 26 passes for 167 yards and an interception, compiling a 67.3 quarterback rating.[15] On November 6 he became the first Miami quarterback since Chad Pennington in 2008 to throw three touchdown passes in a game, in their 31-3 win over the Kansas City Chiefs. He repeated that feat in week 11, blowing out the Bills 35-8, and had the highest QB rating of the week. In 2012 he was announced as the Dolphins' 2011-2012 season MVP.[citation needed]

    2012 season[edit]

During the offseason, Moore was battling for the starting QB role against newly drafted Ryan Tannehill and newly signed David Garrard. [16] Moore became second quarterback. On November 28, 2012, in a Week 8 game against the New York Jets, Moore went in for Tannehill after he left the game with injuries to his left knee and thigh. Moore went 11 for 19 on his passes with a touchdown to lead a 30-9 victory over the Jets.
