The Jets are +280 for a reason because the probability of +280 is almost once every 4 times.

I understand the whole concept of not laying that much juice but this is the playoffs and you know the team will go all out. If someone was laying 300 in a regular season game where the games are obviously not as important, then I completely understand.

Indy is playing at home, in a game to go to the Superbowl, with Peyton Manning as the QB, the Colts defense held the Jets offense to 3 points for almost 3 quarters. The Colts defense has shown that they can stop the run and yet they keep getting disrespected. If the Jets can't run the ball then I'll take Dirty Sanchez trying to beat us with his noodle arm. You think your defense will be as dominate against Peyton as it was vs Rivers? There is a big difference in those 2 Qbs and there is a reason why people call Peyton the smartest QB ever to play the game.

Peyton Manning was 14-21 with 192 yards passing and that is with about 10min left in the 3rd quarter to go. Also Joseph Addai had 6 rushes for 40 yards and if the Colts actually get their run game going, then the Jets have no chance. Finally lets not forget Dwight Freeney and Robert Mathis who will make Mark "Bust" Sanchez life a miserbale hell. Sanchez got sacked 26 times and fumbled the ball 3 times and that is with the least amout of throwing attempts of any starting QB, doesn't that tell you something?

What other QB would you want to lay -320 with in a big game like this one at home? That is why it is smart to lay that kind of juice once in a while when the situation presents itself. We will see Sunday.

Don't explain anything to this idiot. There is a big difference laying 320 with a team in an AFC Championship game rather than a regular season game. BIG difference. Uris is a fucking loser who said he would leave 20 times but he is mentally weak and has to come back to see what people are saying about him. He is a low life and a loser.

on paper the colts ML is buying money but the game is played on a field not on paper and anything can happen, peyton could get injured, the jets could get a couple of lucky fumbles, score and then its a toss-up play.

there's too many examples of so called "good things" flopping because of bad luck, off day or those intangibles that make gambling as fun as it is.

the year PItt beat Indy in the dome was unbelieveable but it does happen.

If Indy plays the way we know they can this should be a cakewalk and an easy 4 gees.  I think looking back to the Miami game earlier in the year where Miami had time of pocession at 80-20 yet still lost shows how explosive Indy is.

    My 2 cents

The Juice aint worth the squeeze.

FACTS ARE FACTS! Peyton Manning is the best QB in the league and the Colts defense is playing out of their mind. What does that mean for the Jets? Well, let's say they will be in for a very long day.

HAHA ...Just because I am located in NY does NOT mean im a JETS fan!!! ....Im actually a Raiders fan but thats another story.....

Peyton is a little bit nervous about that Jets D  and def has that in the back of his mind right now.. I would bet on that.

    Peyton is nervous

His stats were 14-21 with 192 yards passing yards and that was with 10min left in the 3rd. So much for that #1 defense.

If I hit my ML (anywhere from -120 to -340) favorite wagers at a 77% rate. How is betting the Colts ML for -340 a bad bet? Just because I might possibly lose this bet, all you folks think it's a bad bet? Here's a legit answer.  You say you hit MLs at a 77% rate.  Well, a -340 bat just breaks even at 77.2%.  So it's certainly not a bet where the odds are in your favor.  If, over time, you make -340 bets and hit 77.0% of them, you'll be slightly behind.  (Say you bet $340 to win $100... 100 times.  77 times you win $100 = +$7700.  23 times you lose $340 = -$7820.  So you are down $120.

Read my quote please. I did not state all the wagers are at -340. In fact this is the biggest and only wager at -340. So please rethink what you said and come back and talk to me

You have a great point. The only I see the COLTS ML losing is if Peyton gets hurt in the first half. I think by the second half they should be up enough by then

It's a great bet. No starting rookie qb has ever made it to the SB and why know against Manning at his dome?? I find it laughable that people think the Jets will win

been a jet fan a long time they rlove these situations, on the road and an underdog. Sure a game of this magnitude is a huge factor and expierence favors the colts. but, if  you can run the ball the way they are with the BEST offensive line in the game, and be the rated #1 defense in the league, WATCH OUT!!!!! Take the points, Colts 20 Jets 21!!! J-E-T-S   jets, jets, jets

    NYJ vs. N.O

Your better off playing the spread and laying the 7.5 pts. This is a clear mismatch, and I'll lay anything under 10 pts relying on the most efficient QB of his generation.

Listen I'm going to be nice even though you think you are making me look like a fool, which has yet to happen...

You have a total that sits at 39 (clue number 1), a spread that sits at 7 1/2 (clue number 2) and a ML that sits at -340 and +270 (I believe)... Since you speak of value, where is the value in the 6 possible strait wagers you can make?  The total has dropped a full point with no adjustment in the line.  The lines makers are practically telling you that they believe this is going to be a defensive game and the Jets do have a chance of winning this game... So the answer is

    Value is jets + 7 1/2

Least value Colts ML - 340

Please answer me one question.... How often do you see a total less than 40 with a line greater than 7???? (Clue Number 3)

    Take the jets at +7 1/2  at - 110 for $4,000 = VALUE
Take the Colts ML $13,400 to win $4,000 = ZERO VALUE

The risk by far out-ways the reward...

I will also not mention that nobody hits ML wagers at 77%, including you!

Oh, and by the way, -340 ML on ANY team in the NFL PLAYOFFS or SUPERBOWL, is the furthest thing from value.  Do your research... It is a fact that NFL playoff games rarely fall withing the point spread, just look at this years playoffs for example...  So with that said if you want to win $4,000 and you like the Colts to win you play - 7 1/2 at -110 for 4k (but based on the total that is not where the value is, the value is + 7 1/2, but that doesn't mean its the right or wrong play, just the play with the most value)...  Simple Math and research

I'm sorry that you don't understand, but anyone who knows NFL playoffs and wagers BIG money on these games knows that - 340 isn't even worth a conversation...

So when you have a thread Titled "I'm going ALL IN"... There are 2 possible reasons why you started this thread.

#1 ... You are seeking attention and your real wager is 134.00 to win 40.00  (mission successful)

#2 ...  You are rich and have no concept of value or sports betting, and your wager is legit

So, I am leaving your thread, you can call me whatever you want...BOL, you my friend definitely need it

There is no possible way for the Jets to win this game. Only way I will admit is if Peyton gets hurt in the first half. You still make ZERO sense it's really sad. Have you ever thought the reason why the OU is so low? The Jets run run run. The Colts will stop the run. So if the Jets only score 10 points maybe thats why the OU is so low you idiot.

It's impossible for the Jets to win so therefore the Colts ML is the best bet. You still have not given me a legit answer and Im still waiting. Thank you

Thank you
