Brees? Maybe, but he proved his worth against the cowboys to go 13-1 and hasn't been tested since..nice superbowl win though.

the guy is cooler than kool under pressure in big games.. always shakin defenders to get some extra time to hit hines ward or santonio holmes down field on broken plays.

But seriously, as much as I think Ben is a great QB, you have to take Manning hands down...Manning threw one bad pick in his drive to tie the game, but the man has carried the Colts and pulled out wins out of his ass for them for years..I repeat he has CARRIED THE COLTS ON HIS SHOULDERS..THis team would be pushing .500 without him

I love how people discredit all of the comebacks Peyton pulled off this season and in the playoffs. People tend to over react and go nuts after just 1 game. He is still the most clutch QB in the league by far, 1 game shouldn't change that. The pick wasn't even his fault, thats the funny part.

We saw what Rivers did vs the same Jets team that Peyton lit up or Brady against the same Baltimore team. Brady couldn't even get a consistent drive against the Ravens. Don't get me started with Big Ben who couldn't do jack shit against some of the worst teams in the league (oakland, KC,Cleveland and choking against Cinci).

This just proves my point. Brady, Big Ben and Phillip Rivers will ALWAYS need a defense for them to get far. It just sucks that Peyton didn't have the luxury of a 100 yard interception return for a TD in the SB before the half like Big Ben did.

Peyton Manning may be the best Quarter Back all around and I would want him on my team before any other QB, BUT!!

but if we break down what he's good at and what he's not, I would substitute him for Big Ben for that last drive only.

you will find his weakness is failing to make that BIG Drive in that BIG game.

He is fine at coming back in a toss em up season game..but just as last year vs san diego, he just can't seem to do it

Big Ben does have a great defense by his side..but the fact is, when the game is on the line with 1 drive to go..Big Ben gets the job done.
