The cheating issue will continue to be the scape goat for sports fans even if the Pats do go 19-0....its a joke fellas, we're watching NFL history in the making yet so many people want to see them get beat, all it is jealousy, and for the record i'm a Tennessee Titans fan so im far from biased on this topic. Go Pats

And the Pats havent covered much in the second half of the season because they have been laying ridiculous numbers, who lays -13 in a playoff game against a team like the Jags? I couldnt even find a moneyline on the game....

Gee I guess I did not see those wide open recievers throughout the game, no defender within 10 yards.  Why do I have to be a moron because I express my opinion. I will say it again I did not diss the Pats.  It seems like Boston fans always start name calling or make it personal.  I respect you opinion Revenge if I don't agree I don't think your a moron.  As for covering I must be mistaken silly me I thought this was a GAMBLING forum, not a cheerleading exercise.

This game next week against indy will be very interesting. As usual, new england's D is designed not to give up the big play and make the QB beat you with throws underneath the coverage. Garrard is a good QB and got away with forcing a few passes and got caught doing so at the end. However, overall he had a very good game and didn't try to beat the Pats by himself. The Patriot's offense played strong-it seemed like they sorta held back play calling wise-maybe they didn't want to give a lot away. However I think this is due to Jacksonville putting the lockdown on Moss. I don't see Indy going with this approach as Brady will simply beat them the same way they did last night. As far as the run game, the run game was efficient and there when they needed it. This is exactly what McDaniels and Belicheck want.
As a huge patriots fan, I will feel the patriots will lose next week. This is due to a lack of tackling. Plain and simple. Indy will run the football with the stretch play and Addai will gain ample yards. Off of this, they will run playaction and with Rodney creeping up to give run support, Indy will be able to hit on the big pass plays downfield. The patriots D right now is running to the football, the front 3 are plugging gaps, the coverage is strong, but their blatant inability to tackle is hurting them and if (big if) Indy wins the turnover battle, next week Indy will be able to score enough to win.

can you put your foot any further in to your mouth?  This is a sports forum and you made the post about being worried if you were a Pats fan, no where in your original post did you state anything about covering, therefore you are now back tracking because you now know how foolish you look

This is what you said right??  Well tell me why there was no pressure??  Maybe cause the Jags game plan was to drop more guys in coverage, double up on Moss.  And maybe because the Pats offensive line is damn good..  hello??
 
And no running game?  Did you even watch the game.. how many times did Maroney bounce to the outside and get to the 2nd tier of tacklers?  All game!!  He hit the hole as hard as he has all yr.... yeah your right, one dimesional.   Brady 26-28 with 3 TDs.. and Maroney with over 100 yds and a TD..

Bottom line is another win.
 
Bring on Manning, bring on LT. While their franchises sat on their asses last off season the Pats filled their holes and have benefitted immensley.
I have the utmost respect for Indy but as for SD I'll piss all over them.
 
Every week some genius tells us why the Pats will lose or fear for their lives. Now its Green Bay. They have to get to the Super Bowl 1st. And if they do, and I hope they do, the Pats will have one thing on their mind - REVENGE. And won't it be sweet.

the only thing im scared of as a pats fan is the nfl conspiracy theory to let favre win the super bowl, retire, and ride off into the sunset in infinite glory.

Lots of teams have exposed their defence over the last few weeks.
 
Giants, Eagles, Jags, heck even the Ravens put up pts against them. Thing is none of these teams have need able to stop the Pats on offence.
 
Watching the Jags game yesterday it was tough not to just assume the Pats were gonna get 1st down after 1st down every time they touched the ball. It almost seemed like a fumble or rare int was the only hope of stopping them and sure enough at .35 seconds of the 4th quarter we see the NE punter for the first time.
 
Can the Colts, Pack, or Boys stop this offence.... i dunno. I hope so cause i'll continue to fade the Pats all the way through the SB just cause they cant cover a double digit spread to save their lives anymore and all these teams left are good.

The way that RIVERS!  is completing passes against the Colts in the first half MAY change my mind about taking the Colts against the Patriots next week, assuming the Colts win today.
