I have to agree, just that usually there are a couple surprise teams that go from crappy to decent, IE Seattle last year...and usually a team or 2 that goes from Good to crappy...who knows...anyways I Agree...Jets over 7 wins will be hard!

no way the win seven plus they suck and that is all you have to know. this is a good bet at under 6.5. Don't over think this one.

Not sure why everyone thinks the Jets will lose to the Bucs week 1...  I believe the Jets will win su week 1 at home.  I could see the Jets winning 7 games and it wouldn't surprise me.  It is the NFL one or two plays could decide the game and the Jets could win as a result you never know.

ya never know.  I see your point and yes they could beat tampa week one but I don't see them winning six games after that point.  I don't see them sweeping the bills maybe the dolphins though.  Other than that I see the Jets winning at best six games.  Maybe the oddsmakers know something we don't but as for what I have seen out of the Jets, their players, and coaches,it would give me zero confidence in taking the over here.

I rarely post anymore but this topic got me thinking.  I'm a Patriots fan, hate the Jets and could see them going 0-16 this year.

BUT

I dont think anyone is looking at their schedule & thinking "what if they do better than anyone thinks?"  I could see them splitting Miami & sweeping Buffalo in a "best case" scenario.  Losing both to New England with significant ease.

AFC East has the NFC South & AFC North this year.  Would it be a shocker if they won two games against the NFC? No, not really.  Is 1-3 reasonable against the AFC North? Probably.  That's six wins.  That leaves games against Tennessee & Oakland.  They COULD beat both of those teams.  There's eight.  Even if they split those two games, that's 7 wins.

So in my estimation, if EVERYTHING goes right for the Jets this year, they finish 8-8.
