If you're saying they won't advance past the 1st round, well, they already have. And if you're saying that because they only scored 3 vs GB, well, they also scored 20 against them at home which is 5 more points than GB's defense allowed per game this year.

I came here just to post that, I love the Bears at home vs the Saints in the next round. Then we see how it goes from there a rubber match vs the Pack or a visit to the Dome and Matty Ice.

Okay fellas. If GB wins today the Bears get to ply Seattle at home and basically get a walk to the NFC championship....just figured that it was worth mentioning

it might not be a cakewalk for the Bears
nothing is guaranteed when playing them fightin' Seahawks...

they already beat Bears earlier in Chicago

if they did it once, it's possible they can do it again

Detroit at home, which just about everyone did (and if you remember Megatron's TD that never was, you'd debate the W)
@ Dallas when they couldn't win a game
Green Bay at home when they were down Grant and couldn't run at all
@ Carolina, which just about everyone did
@ Buffalo, which just about everyone did
Minnesota at home, which just about everyone did
@ Miami versus Thigpen
Philly at home, which is their only quality win
@ Detroit, see above
@ Minnesota, see above
New York at home, during their late season skid

Cutler in his first playoff game became the 3rd QB ever 2 throw and rush for TD's each.  IN his first game.  Both of these guys just got their first playoff wins this season.  You guys act like Rodgers has been winning Super Bowls for a decade.

I believe you gotta be able to run the football in a game like this.  If the Packers can't, and I'm not sure they can, then they probably won't win.  If Rodgers thinks he can throw 45 times and win I think GB will be disappointed.

What are you talking about they are over-rated?

People everywhere have been dogging this team all year.

They have the longest odds to win the superbowl of the four teams left and they have beaten 2 of them. Exactly how are they over-rated?

Like I said in another post, why even play the game. Green Bay is the best thing since sliced bread. Here in Chicago word just got out Bears not even gonna show up, just handed the game to GB since they have no shot and are in complete awe of everything the packers do. Oh well, at least we made it to the NFC title game. Congrats Packer backers, we wouldn't have it any other way.

Unfortunately, the bears being at home might be a drawback for the team IMO...

the field is terrible at the defensive players slip often and that advantage will go to rodgers and the packers as he Green bay has the much better passing game.

How do we know if hes a big game qb,his first one was today...Bears D and special teams are top five..thats two thirds of a squad and everybody has written them off...we shall see next weekend..

Nbafan the Bears pretty much played them even at GB,won the game at home...why couldnt this happen again?Chi playn good ball right now in all three phases of the game..Bears are a better running team and 2nd vs the run on D..GB passing game only avg 40 more yds per game on the season..Bears are young and learning a complex system under Martz theyve looked better week after week

Doubt,hate,bitch all you want..the Bears deserve to be here and come Sunday they could earn a flight to Dallas

um they averged 110 more yards per game on total offense for 16 games tops in nfl

steelers are 2nd with +75 yds per game

and the #1 scoring defense in all 3 fazes

The Bears have alot of things going for them.This a div opponent and a big rival i will take the points.People fcking act like Rodgers has won 3 superbowls already and Cutlers a peon.Let me tell i could see Rodgers falling on his face.Itys happend to the best.Cutler has improved a ton since having more time with Martz and the switching of the off line

I will give their def some cred as well as Special teams (There is truly no1 you should fear kicking to over hester, Leon Washington is good as well as ATL's KR) so Chic has that advantage, but their defense has played well but not tremendous and even though I would normally side w/ defense I think Rodgers can beat anything thrown at him...This game seems like a GB 8+ pt margin, and I'd be pretty shocked if Chic can score enough let alone hold GB from scoring more. Most sides favor the packers and that's probably why they are a 3 pt fav on the road
