It is a great place to watch a game, Some fans are pricks though, and that is coming from ME, who is a die hard Philadlephian.

Oh stop it.  A 6 year old Jets fan got tackled to the ground by an adult Browns fan 2 weeks ago and nobody said a word.  The fans there had glass bottles banned from all arenas in the USA when they decided to hurl them at the officials of a Browns game.  Philly fans are criticized how they treat Donovan McNabb, but nobody questions how Cleveland abused Lebron James tonight. 

I'm not picking on Cleveland.  Their fans are awesome.  They give a shit.  Just like Philadelphians.  Leave fans alone.  They care.  They don't stay home when their team sucks.  They show up, and tell people how they feel.  Any QB that gets hurt in Philadelphia this year will get a roaring round of applause, because fans there don't respect the NFLs decision to treat them like porcelain dolls.   McNabb always took excessive hits, but because of his atheleticism, they weren't penalized.  Its happening all over again with Vick.  But if any defender touches a less mobile (ie white) QB they get an automatic 15 yards and possibly a fine. 

Fans are the reason sports matters.  Leave fans alone.  Places where fans don't care...or don't show up....kill them.  THEY are losers.  THEY ruin sports.  THEY don't deserve franchises.  Philadelphia is no different than New York, Cleveland, Boston, or Los Angeles.  But Philadelphians get a bad rap.  If you make $10mill a year, get hurt, and get cheered.....boo hoo.  Philly fans want to see a winner.  Thats all any real fan wants to see.  And if they want it bad enough, they don't care how it happens.

I work at the Linc, and it is not ALL the fans....I deal with many a$$holes, but the majority of fans are just diehards, and love football and our team. You cannot call an entire fanbase and city shit because of a few people. Its a shame more cities and fans dont care about their team like Philly fans do. And for the guy from Michigan that says Philly is a shithole.....wow is all I can say! 

This is just a myth that isn't true. Philly is pretty bad, but most NFL fans in general are scum.  This is why I prefer to sit in the club level @ at any NFL game I choose to attend.  The ticket is more expensive but you don't have to deal with idiots who might get you into a situation you would rather not be in.

in the old Vet, i went to a Philly/Giants game with a friend from college...he was a big dude (football player) and wore his LT jersey. i wore nothing and by the 3rd quarter i feared for my life
