How many games will the Jets win this year?

Question

I say 4 at the most. Buffalo week 4, Detroit, Cleveland, and Chicago. By the time they play Buffalo the last game no one on the Jets will care.

By week 9 they will be 2-6. Revis will be out with a hamstring injury, they will find out what a mistake it was to let go of Thomas Jones and his 14 TD's and they will realize the real reason why Shonn Green is a journeyman running back at best. Braylon Edwards will want to go to the Chargers because that's "were it's happenin man", and no, Joe Nameth is not wearing #6

Keep in mind the Jets won 9 games last year with the last two wins coming against teams that didn't paly thier starters. The other 7 had a record of 49-63. Not exactly beating the elite of the league.

I understand the New York media is dying for the Jets to win. But talking about them like they have been playing like the Colts the last 10 years is laughable. Maybe by week 9 they can start talking about some of the other 31 teams and Rex Ryan can throw footballs at some female reporter without anyone noticing

I know the jets are my team, so im some what biased. But you are an idiot and need to pick a new hobby that isnt related to sports betting if you think the jets wont win over 4 games haha.

I would love to make a bet on that over.

They lost to a potential AFC superbowl rep team by 1 point, with absolutley no offense, and with handing out 125 yards on 14 penalties.

Once the offense gets the slightest improvement and santonio holmes back, expect this team to get rolling.

Ima save this thread to laugh at you when then jets get going haha. 4 wins this season, your talking like they are the lions.

Yeah, I&#x27;ve got big money on a futures wager that the Jets lose on their Bye Week too! It was a pick&#x27;em so we know that&#x27;s easy money!!!But realistically, I think the Jets are not a bad team. They are good, just not great. The Defense is great, the offense is mediocre, which makes them good. They have a decent shot to make the playoffs. Its a tough division though.

[/Quote]You point out that, but leave out the fact the Ravens were playing without their best corner, their star safety and RT.  In fact, their guard had to play tackle and fucked up their inside run blocking which is why they couldnt get a push.  You left out the field position differential.  Ravens were starting within their own ten while the Jets had phenomenal field position.  You also left out the Jets won the turnover battle 3-1 and home teams winning the turnover margin by 2 or more hit at a crazy clip.  The Ravens still have to get TJ and Anquan assimilated into the offense.  All that and you still lost.6-10

One dominant defender in the secondary leading a great D.  Undisiplined fucks all over the field playing for a loud mouth coach.  An atrocious QB (Mcnair hurt majority of year; Sanchez = Boller) playing for an awful offensive coordinator.  Receivers who can&#x27;t get separation.  Ravens went 5-11 I believe

Repeat last years record and make the playoffs (wildcard), jets are the most overhyped team this year. clearly this will not be a break out year.

The jets should od ended 7-9 last year and never make the playsoffs.. there last two games of the season last year were given to them on a silver platter. Indy took out payton and lost in the 2nd half, Panthers rested there starters.

They have gotten better in the off season and added some key players thats why I will say -

This thread is ridiculous and only a person not knowledged in teh NFL would say the Jets only win 4 games after they just lost to the Ravens.... Its almost a joke to even think that.... I hate the Jets but not only will they win the AFC East, they will win 10 + games and be in teh AFC championship once again and anything can happen from there... Do your research on the #1 rated defense and see what their records have been over the years.... and if you think the Ravens defense is better than teh Jets again you are mistaken I promise you that... The Jets defense is the best in the NFL hands down
