Baltimore run defense has been solid??? They beat Pitt week 1 with Pitt having 2 rookies on the OL....Pitt should've lost to Indy last week other than 3rd string Curtis Painter over throwing Garcon........ week 2 CJ had his highest rushing total of the season albeit 53 yds in a win against the Ravens........last week an injured Steven Jackson had 4 carries.........not sold on the Ravens and the Jets have looked suspect too..........
Based on what you said how can you say the ravens run defense has not been solid, they have held teams down from rushing. It doesn't matter the fact of who they played or what rushing attack they faced, fact is the jets rush defense couldn't stop a nose bleed right now. Will it change this week who knows, however rushing isn't exactly the jets main strength, but if you think greene is gonna drive it up the middle i'd say youre sadly mistaken. Dind't work for the steelers, didnt work for the titans in lets be honest was a horribly played game by the ravens, and it didn't work for st. louis. All of those teams have just as good if not better running backs then Greene. Will be interesting to see though, I have no doubt that the Ravens will still have a solid rush defense will they give up less then 100 on the ground i kind of doubt it. I think where they could get killed is if sanchez does some nice screens to LT, they are kind of weak on the outside in that department and I could see him getting some solid YAC, this is technically receiving yards though.

Why didn't you quote the rushing stats? Leaving out information to make your argument seem better does not work.
The game breaks down like this flacco has shown moments of greatness and so has sanchez. Neither will this week, however baltimores run defense has been pretty solid where as the jets has been horrible. I expect ray rice to have a big day on the ground and getting solid YAC on those short screens. I see this being a FG game, so jets +3.5 is the right play but so is ravens ml, and with sanchezs lack of sound decisions late in games that hes losing could equal a backdoor cover for balty.
I'm buying the hook.
I left it out because I dont track rushing stats. I pay more attention to passing yards per attempt and allowed. These two teams are nearly even in yards per point at 13 which could factor in the run game as well, and they both are 29 in yards per point allowed, so NYJ run defense does not bother me. gl

how is revis handling boldin last year when boldin had 7 catches for 110 yards????
This is incorrect. Revis did not cover Boldin last year. Cromartie did. I had a wager on the game and watched every second and here is another source if needed. Bottom of the page it talks about Cromartie getting owned

Don't let the Ravens fool you to lay more than a FG. They beat a bad Rams team. Lost to a bad Titans team. Beat a Steelers team that has come out flat to start the season (don't count the Seahawks as that team is atrocious).
I know people will disagree with me here but that's what this forum is for but the Ravens are a paper tiger and I see Joe Flacco having a tough time moving the ball Sunday Night.

Which angle ways more on Rex Ryan.. revenging last years loss to the Ravens or looking ahead to next weeks match-up against thePatriots. Think about it before you say something stupid.
