This is erroneous.  First, Seattle is known the world over for constantly having miserable wet weather conditions.  Second, as a Denver resident I can tell you that while snow and temperatures in the single digits are possible here we do not get it a lot.  As a result of the altitude we get some of the oddest weather around.  But we get a lot of what the people counting refer to as "sunny days."  Just as Phoenix sees a lot of sun so does Denver.  Now what they call a sunny day and I call a nice day can often be two entirely different things (see a sunny day with 20+ mph winds for example).  Anyways, I can tell you this much: it snowed yesterday and was around 20 degrees when I left work at 9pm; two days ago I played tennis outside and tomorrow is supposed to be in the 50's and sunny.  Go figure. 

Side note: I would not consider Peyton cured of his bad weather blues because he plays for Denver now.
