statistically no and I think that will become reality when they play the game. Unless Peyton lays an egg, which he is fully capable of doing, I don't think this game will be a close one.

I believe your point was statistically speaking which doesn't bear out. Should this be solely based upon regular season records, I have no problem with your assertion

I agree the Jets steal this one if it is a close game, but I just don't see it going that way either. The Jets are the more physical team and that usually wins it if the game is close. Here is what sticks out in my mind, the disgust on Peyton Manning's face when they pulled him out of the game against the Jets in December. If anybody doesn't think that is still looming in Manning's mind than you are kidding yourself. He wanted back in that game and this is his shot. I think that game is so fresh in his mind that he will know exactly what he wants to do in this game.

EVERYONE AGREES ITS THE JETS. IN SOME SICK WAY MAYBE THE COLTS KNEW IF THEY LOSS AND SENT THE JETS TO SAN DIEGO, THEY WOULD COME OUT WINNERS. NOW JETS GOTTA HEAD BACK TO INDY AND GET THERE BEAT DOWN THAT SHOULD HAVE HAPPEND WEEKS AGO![]()

this is the correct answer to your question...
can you make a case that this is "statistically" the easiest road a team has had to the Super Bowl... but "realistically" it isn't even close... in fact, the Colts arguably have the toughest playoff schedule of any team... they had to play without question the two best defenses in the AFC, and if they do make it to the Super Bowl, they will be playing the Vikings, and they will have then played all 3 of the remotely respectable defenses that made it to the playoffs this year...
so no... they are not getting an easy road by any stretch of the imagination... they instead are getting the two teams that play the best defense and have the best running games... these are literally the last two teams they should have wanted to face... and that definitely includes SD... Colts would have dismantled that farse of a team... and they would have blown the Pats off the field...

Why does everyone keep talking about the Colts being able to watch the Chargers game see what they did wrong??
If anything the Jets get to watch what the Ravens DIDNT do , like lack of PAP. After the run is established which should be early look for the Jets to PAP on 1st down which is something the Ravens did not do enough IMO.
I feel like the Jets get an advantage from tape or last week not the Colts. They get see how NOT to score only 3 points. While the Colts can see that they can only not throw picks to give the Jets good field advantage and be glad they have not only 1 but 2 great kickers who are clutch ??? And I still think the Jets would of ended up with the win even if the Chargers made 2/3 of those.
Im personally not able to figure out who I like in this one. I still have the Jets at 50-1 I got right after the season ended so I might hedge a little on the Colts ML.

ALL THE COLTS CAN DO IS PLAY THE TEAM IN FRONT OF THEM, WHICH THEY HAVE BEAT ALL YEAR.
GOOD AGAINST THE SPREAD TOO.
I do see your point but this may not be a good reason to bet the aints.
The Colts have been the class of the league all year. They should win easily for some reason I am on your side though.
GL bro.

This line stinks I am with you. The books can make a killing on this game just taking the juice and giving the 6.5 the public would then split over. They are dragging their feet in moving it up, which means they must like the Aints at 5.5. They are looking for more than juice in this game. Why? Easy millions on the 10%.
Books are smart, public is dumb. I will side with the books.
