Well Wildcard Weekend was a f**kin MESS for me!!! Me a Win-less start to my playoff run. So im starting off the Postseason with an 0-3 Record, lets hope we get em back this week with a 4-0 Week!!!
I noticed the "Cheese" reference from CurtisSumpter... Whats really good? Who is this? Fellow SUNY-Albany?? Goodluck bro!
pillyw0nka, You claimed outside of my run in Weeks 5 n 6 where I went 15-0, ive been "terrible bro" but even if you take away those 2 Weeks of Flawless Picks, I'm STILL ABOVE .500 on the Season... Hows your betting Season going? oh thats right, you dont Post your picks, bitch... Take a fkn hike child...
Onto my Picks... I decided I'm going to Bet EVERY SINGLE Game of this Playoffs... Here We Go!!!
Divisional Round Picks:
Baltimore +3.5 @ Pittsburgh: This game tortured me BY FAR the most out of these 4 games. I initially "loved" the Ravens... Then I liked the Steelers... and now I'm back on the Ravens... but Im now VERY confident in my choice... My biggest "argument" FOR the Steelers was the Ravens Record in their Last 9 Games Versus the Steelers. Its 3-6, but the Bigger Details here are that their 3 Wins over the Steelers were games where Big Ben DID NOT Play... This for me, was hard to overlook... But I just dont believe this Steelers Team is better than this Ravens Team... Even though the Ravens ussually dont Win against Big Ben, IMHO I'd be surprised if the Winner of this game is by any more than 3 Points. Baltimore will struggle to Run the ball against Pitt, as everyone has all season, but the Ravens can utilitze Ray Rice in the passing game to ensure he nets 100 All Purpose Yds, plus hell create a security blanket for Flacco when the pressure does come. I look for Rice to do a lot of "chipping" the Blitz'er and then roll out into the flats, he could pickup 40+ yds with this little wrinkle. Boldin gives Baltimore that Elite and explosive WR that theyve needed for years, plus TJ Housh hasnt been that "Big-Time" Possession Receiver that many thought he could be, but he is a sure-handed veteran who Flacco can look to on big Red Zone/3rd down situations. The Ravens Defense Never needs any motivation, as theyre the most Emotional Defense in the NFL but Ed Reed's situation with his brother has given them an additional edge... When he said "My brother loves football... He'd want us to beat Pittsburgh", I was pretty sure I was taking this Baltimore team... Reed led the league in INTs and Missed 1/3 of the Season, thats sick! Suggs is seriously a Domesticated Silver Back, he might be my favorite LB in the NFL, hes INSANE on the field and will be a difference maker... Polamalu is being labeled the "difference maker" on Defense in this game, but IMHO, Suggs/Reed will dominate this game defensively... Flacco took this Ravens team to the AFC Championship Game his Rookie year and I think he leads this Team there again... (But "if" he loses, it shouldnt be by more than 3, lol) (Laying 1-Unit)
Green Bay +2.5 @ Atlanta: Green Bay discovered their Running Game lastweek... Will it continue this week? If it does, theyll Win... If it doesnt, the could still Win. Atlantas Pass-D ranks 22nd in the League so GB 'could' go 4 Wide and exploit the Slots and use their Deep WR Corp. They also run a unique 3-Back formation with Kuhn and Starks in the backfield that can be difficult to defend at times... So they have 2 COMPLETELY Different ways to attack this Atlanta Defense, I expect 1 of the 2, if not both, to be effective. This GB Team is Peaking at exactly the right time and their Offense seems to be improving, while their Defense is Ferocious... Ive said it before and Ill say it again, this Defense is a bunch of Ball Hawks and they fly to the ball carrier and I expect them to force turnovers and create take away opportunities this Saturday. Similar to above, Matty Ice's record @ Home being 20-2 is VERY Hard to go against, but GB 'could have' Won their last game, just as easily as they lost it... That 4th Down "catch" by TonyG couldve been challenges and 'overturned', which wouldve caused a turnover on downs and then the Packers wouldve Won... So like i said, just as easily as Atlanta Won, they couldve Lost. These Teams are VERY evenly Matched. Throw OUT their Overall Regular Season Records, both of these teams had 6 Games Versus Playoff Teams and Both of them went 3-3 Versus the NFL's best so IMO, this is 2 very even teams playing. Normally I'd take the "better QB" but this is a pretty even matchup, so Ill take the Points here, and I'll take the Better Defense, and I'll take the team playing better right now... (Laying 2-Units)
Seattle @ Chicago -10: Well its already Midnight Cinderella, sorry! This 8-9 Team SHOCKED the World last Week... The up-ended the Defending Champs, registered Seismic Activity, had the BEST Run of the Season, but its next week, and now theyre on the Road. While this Seattle Team is "traditionally" Good @ Home, theyre pretty BAD on the Road. Cutler wont faulter like he did in their 1st Matchup, hell be on point and make plays when he needs to, he wont force plays... Chicago is better than Seattle on all 3 Phases of the Ball and it will show Sunday. Matt Hasselbeck cant have "another" 4 TD Game can he? NOT against this Bears Defense! and NOT on the Road! This Seahawks Defense is SO Terrible, its not even funny... I know they looked great, but their Homefield advantage was HUGE Last week. As long as Cutler takes care of the Football, this Seahawks team will get steamrolled... Also, the trend that the last 12 times a Superbowl Champ was Beaten in the Playoffs, they ALL Lost their Next Game, 0-12 SU (1-11 ATS)... Im NOT a "big" Trends guy, infact I HATE them... but this is a Trend that has Payed me off the Last Few Seasons... Lets Get Payed off AGAIN!!! (Laying 3-Units)
