I totally agree I would fire his sorry ass I could’ve coached that game better couldn’t fucking believe it but I didn’t kick the first field goal then when they didn’t kick the second one to tie the game it’s almost like they lost the game on purpose. If I was the fans, I would go after that son of a bitch and I was the owner I fire him.

Yea I get it. I felt like the times he went for it I was fine with. It's who he is, he's done it all year. Also, I felt like he knew that his defense was losing it's grip in the 2H. He wanted more than 3 points at the time.
Dropped passes happen all the time too, he didn't forsee any of those either. The players have to execute. Most of those passes hit em in the hands.

He is like an out of control gambler but worse because he is gambling with other peoples money. He just cost the Lions and the city of Detroit millions of dollars in revenue with his stupid gambling problem. If he was an employee at any company and did that he would be fired. It shouldn't matter if he is a likeable guy. This isn't the first time he has cost the Lions a game with his dumb decisions and it came back to haunt them in the biggest game of the year.

I understand that point of view.
As stated the rest is SUBJECTIVE. It easy to say that now in hindsight. Bcuz it lead to the miss int catch followed by a fumble. Which lead to two TDs.
What im pointing out is the 4th qtr.
The score is 27-24, niners have the lead. There 7 mins left in the game. Its 4th and 2.
Your in fg range.
Lets say you do convert. Hell lets say lions do get a TD. Would make it 31-27 Problem is the game isnt over.
Most likely there will be enough time for 49ers to march down the field to win the game.
So why try?
But you dont convert. Instead of tying the game. Your down 3 and the 49ers have the ball! With only 7 mins left, chances are, you only getting the ball one more time. If 49ers score a TD bcuz they are up 3 it makes a two possesion game.
Its exactly what happen.
Not kicking the fg at that point literally cost the game. You can talk about momentum changes, etc but that easy to see in hindsight.
There was little reward going for the 4th down in the above scenario. And huge penalty for not converting it at that point instead of tying the game.

I am still in disbeliefs. He went full retard. I’ve never seen anything like it. He did it 3 times. Have a chance to go up 3 scores in the second half with a running game that’s been working. You simply can’t defend it. Then had a chance to go for a game tying 40 yarder in the 4th quarter. Then he went for it again down two scores on 4th and 4 and got lucky to get it. Cost me about 6k. I was lucky to even be in that spot because of his stupidity. I simply can’t believe what I saw

I like his aggressiveness, it lets you steal possessions. Reynolds shoulda caught it and Goff had Amon wide open. Just be aggressive throughout the entire game. Not going for it at the end of the first half when you have control was a mistake. FGs at those points would not have been back breakers for the Niners. Converting them would have.
