Dak Prescott BREAKING NEWS

There's nobody on this forum that knows this team more than me. I am no fan of Dak but that line is a joke and their play was atrocious. I think La'el had more penalties that SF by himself. Maybe you lost a bet and are butthurt but when you have plays wiped out by penalties, yards loss by penalties, and zero time to throw, it makes the difference. And you have the nerve to get at agro with me. You sound like you don't even understand the game of football. Did you ever play at any level. I don't even like Dak. Never have but I have watched missed maybe 5 Cowboys games in the last decade. I know this team. I'm no fan of Dak but that was a team effort at sucking. The Online being the worst offender.

Don't try to explain football to people who's very understanding of football is limited to their poorly capped losing wagers. Show me one QB in history that has won behind shitty O line play.

 I dare you. Name one QB that has succeeded behind a shitty line. Cowboys led the league in penalties and penalty yards but yeah, Dak. The running game was non existent but yeah, Dak. You've got me defending a QB I don't even like because of your smugness in your ignorance.

I know the team as well as the other poster. I have been a follower straight out for past 49 years at the age of 7. 

I lost non team totals yesterday as well a SB prop bet. I can afford to lose. It’s not about losing a bet. 

I do not and will never think Dak is a playoff or SB champion QB. I won’t. I do not see it. And I am stating I never will see it. 

I think he misses wide open receivers. I think he is a stare down QB. I think he cannot manage check downs well. I do not think he is secure with the ball. I do not feel he unifies his offense either. 

I think someone compared him to Kirk Cousins. Yes I will go right there in that basket.

 I'm younger than you but have been a Cowboys fan for over 30 years. I'm no fan of Dak and I'll even go as far as agreeing with everything you said. Yesterday though. I don't know when I've seen worst line play from a playoff team. I know Pittsburgh's line is bad but I only watched a bit of that game.

Penalties are drive killers. They wipe out positive plays. They affect down and distance. I don't think guys understand football but even at the NFL level, you get to 2nd and 20, 9 times out of 10 your drive is already done.

 And we have to remember that Dak wasn't drafted to be an heir apparent. He was a mid rounds project that fell into a role. It's no surprise he doesn't look like the guy. He's not. He makes me miss Romo at times and I hated Romo.

Dak has had better player around him than Tony Romo! Hands down

  The guy was the highest paid QB in the league this year. How about accountability. Oh he has no Oline..or he needs the best OL? Which one is it? He wants to be the highest paid QB and expect management to get the best OL with 2 good RB’s.. and 3 good Wr’s and a good TE already.. OL was good enough.  Yesterday was his time to carry the team for once vs a good team. He Shiit the bed

 Quote me where I said he needs the best O line. Then while you're at it, name me a QB that won anything with a shitty line. The Cowboys O line is flat out bad. I am not a fan of Dak but facts are facts and Xs and Os are Xs and Os. As far as being the highest paid QB, that's the business of football. The highest paid guy isn't necessarily the best. He's the starter whose team has to decide if they are keeping or letting him walk. Another contract will come up and someone else will be highest paid. And that line was absolutely not good enough. Maybe you don't really understand football. Not only do they suck at their job, blocking. They are oft penalized. Holding and false start penalties are drive killers. What was the yards per carry when you take out Dak's rushing yards? How many penalty yards were attributed to the O line? How did this affect manageable down and distance?

I know the actual Xs and Os are boring for you guys. I don't even like Dak but no QB would've had success behind that line. During the Patriots dynasty, the Oine was a focal point. You need good line place. I know they don't get the recognition. The accolades but that's football. You go as far as the lines.
