no sir, the number would have to be around 13-14. The Colts will not be able to score on Saturday, while the Rams should have no problem bull-dozing their RB's through the Colts soft defense, especially the Colts back-up defense. Curtis Painter is the worst back-up quarterback in the league hands down. If anyone can name me someone worse, I am willing to listen.

for -300? Ehhh... If your worried about the points, take a 6 point teaser and play the over 27.5. Rams should put up about that many

You sound way too confident for a preseason game. Anything can happen.

As far as the colts you bash, you cant compare backup QB's. Every single one of them have a different story, some are less experienced, some old, and some never see any playing time because of who they are behind. Painter has improved and then theres Nate Davis. While they havent shown us anything its also important to keep in mind the colts had a ton of injuries last year and many of the backups that you call soft were starters last year. The play on the colts defense being soft and weak is played out. They are quick and all of them are hungry. I wouldnt put it past anyone on that team to step up there game. They are loaded at WR now because of all the inuries they had last year and will all be playing for position. I dont blame you for picking the Rams, I agree Vegas has adjusted the line to reflect what you say however to be that confident for a preseason game is ignorance.

The only ignorance being shown is yours. Did you notice that I made a very similar thread about the Colts 1st pre-season game last year? In that thread, I discussed how I have bet on this situational bet for the past 7 years. Going 7-0. That might be why I'm confident, I'm sure its going to lose one of these years. But, its people like you that make the world go round. It would be a lot less interesting without the simpletons like yourself to at.

One other thing, AJ Feeley is 1000X better than anything the Colts have. So yes, it is easy to compare the backup QBs. Also, considering Nate Davis and Dan Orlovsky were signed AFTER the lockout means they won't understand the Colts complicated offense. AJ Feeley was with the Rams last year. This guy was a starter in the league and is a more than serviceable backup. That is more than I can say about Curtis Painter as well.

2. public will pound the rams cause there is no manning(yes its a preseason but still)
3.Painter has been taking plenty of reps with the 1st squad
4.Painter has been under mannings wing for a few years he had to learn something
5. orlovsky is the colts 2nd(3rd qb when manning is back)
6. Defense has gotten younger and a bit bigger.

You have a few valid reasons, but this one is not true as 58% of Covers consensus is on Colts +7. Best of luck either way

yeah cuz the covers consensus is the best place to find where the public is betting... most real sports bettors wouldnt bother with a site like this so idk if your argument is valid

Actually believe it or not, Covers consensus is a much more reliable number than going to vegasinsider or relying on an online book to tell you where the money is going
