...  If Dal wins, Chi game means nothing for Philly.  Game after v. Dal determines who gets in.

If betting Dal, small parlay w/ Chi is not bad idea.

I like Chicago regardless but if The Cowboys win earlier this could turn this into a preseason type game for Philly  if the Bears get out to a nice lead early on

Nothing like going into a week 17 must win game by playing your 2nd string in week 16.


Anyone that thinks the eagles will rest anyone or wont be playing 100% regardless of the Dallas outcome is delusional.  Especially after last week.

gmitran incorrect. Philly wants the third seed as NO ONE wants to go to Philly. These are professional footballers. They will be playing hard to try generate momentum and get that 3rd seed. Chicago might win but your angle is irrevlant.

so ur saying tono romo is going to come up big in week 17, even though he has failed 2 years in a row in the exact same winner take all scenario?  the only difference is dallas plays at home for all the marbles.

At this point, I would think Philly getting is more important than seeding.

Just to be clear, I'm not saying Philly will/should rest their starters, just something to consider!!!  At very least, if I'm taking Philly, I would take this into consideration.

Chicago is the better team anyway and Lance Briggs returns this week. That is a huge thing to consider as the Bears have had 2 rookies at LB all year.

3rd or 4th seed comes into play only if 1st and 2nd seeds both lose their divisional games then 3rd seed get HF for Conf Champ.  Doubtful they think that far ahead as regard to seeding!!!

It comes into play if you don't want to go to Seattle! Philly knows Seattle is the bomb at home. The niners are probably the only team left that can beat Hawks at home. Philly would much rather go to Panthers/Saints then Hawks providing they win division/wildcard.

There is no angle here! Nothing to consider. "This Chi means nothing to Philly" is the biggest pile of tripe I have ever read on this board. Philly want to win out and there is ZERO percent chance of them not giving 100%. Its an idiotic point you made, but you simply cant see that.

I agree cause of clowns like you posting silly threads..There is NOTHING to consider here. Chip Kellys ideal world the following happens..

1) Philly beats Chicago, Saints beat Carolina

2) Philly beats Dallas, Arizona beats San Fran, Atlanta beats Carolina

3) Philly beats 49ers at home, Arizona beats Green bay/Detroit

4) Philly beats Saints, Arizona beats Seattle..

NFC championship game Philly hosts..

Now that won't happen but Philly is looking to play the 2nd second and hope for the lowest remaining seed to beat Seattle. Until this becomes mathemically impossible this is what Philly will be fighting for.

Kelly has ZERO interest in resting players. The longterm goal is far more important then a potential week off. Rest is for off season. Your thread is pointless.
