I've already stated how I feel about the home field advantage and I think it is worth 5 points in this situation. I arrive at that number due to drunkness of the Bills fans, Brady Quinn's first start on the road, The Bills overall home-field performance and the Browns relative ineptitude on the road.
The great unknown in capping this game is Brady Quinn. We could have a much better feel for the Browns if Derek Anderson were the QB. Such is life. Brady has started one game in his career and performed well. His favorite target was Kellen Winslow and this poses a huge problem for the Bills. We have very solid linebackers at every except covering the tight end. Posluszny is not athletic enough to cover Winslow and Mitchell just runs a round like a chicken with his head cut off all game. He makes plays, but he is always attacking the ball, not made to cover the tight ends. So if Brady looks for him early and often it could be trouble for the Bills. Somewhat amazingly, this game features 2 good running backs who have not had a single 100 yard rushing game between them. Lewis averages around 4 ypc and gets plenty of opportunities. The Bills run D at home has not allowed even close to a 100 yard rusher this year. So it seems pretty safe to assume that Brady will have no pressure taken off of him by his running game. The Bills will be blitzing Brady as they blitz every quarterback but they havent had any success getting there and it has cost them recently. If they are able to get Quinn's jersey dirty early, it could be a long night for the Browns. The Browns D has allowed in terms of rushing yards per game on the road...151, 69, 193 and 113. They have played very good running teams though, which Buffalo is not. I dont see either back going for over 100 yards again tonight and it should be a shootout in the air. The Browns numbers against the pass look decent, but as I stated before they were against good running teams who didnt look to pass as much as the Bills will. I expect Trent Edwards to have a huge game against this defense tonight.
Ok so the Bills at home. They looked great week 1 in a thorough domination of the Seahawks. Scored in every facet of the game but the Seahawks are terrible. The next home game they played horrible against the Raiders but Edwards led them back from behind and got the job down. Bills had their top 2 running games from Lynch in those 2 wins. Fact is, the line can't run block to save their lives. They are horrible. Marshawn cant even find a gap to gain yardage. He most likely wont find much room tonight either, although guard Brad Butler is back for the game so that should help. If they Bills can get even modest success on the ground this game could get ugly quickly. Edwards should be able to pass all over this defense. I am his biggest critic however and still question if he can throw the ball in the cold weather. He needs to prove something to me tonight The Bills then went on to beat the Chargers by 9 in a game that was really closer than the final score. The Bills by no means dominated this game they just got the big turnover at big times and did not commit any themselves. This has been their achilles heel of late. Edwards feels the cold breeze and freezes up. He has flat out sucked, partly due to a poor running game and an offensive line that has been like swiss cheese. He threw a pick 6 in their next home game against the Jets that caused them to lose. Then followed that up by laying a dud against the Patriots and sucking again.
Dont think I'm just bashing the Bills, he made some great throws and he is still a young QB who will bounce back. No better spot than tonight to do it too. The Bills on MNF at home are just awesome. They get their inspirtational leader back tonight in Donte Whitner who really makes a big difference. Stroud will clog up the run in the middle and the pressure will be on Brady Quinn to make good decisions for his team.

All-in-all, I will be taking the Bills tonight. I am going to wait for people to pound the Under and take the Over around 40 as well. I can't bet on basically a rookie QB coming into a hostile environment. Quinn will have success even if he has a few turnovers and put points on the board against this porous D. Edwards may turn the ball over as well, but will put up points too. I think they Bills at home will make more big plays and after a 3 game losing streak will bounce back with a rather convincing victory. I think the Bills jump out in this one early and the Browns make a run late until the Bills put it away
Prediction:
Buffalo-34
Browns-23
Bills(-4.5)
Over hopefully 40

On and off snowing in Buffalo right now. Nothing that will even stick to the ground. It will be in the high 20's during the game with light snow. Nothing that will effect either of these teams, cept my buddy Trent who obviously would rather play football in the warm weather

Have a feeling the over under is going to get pushed back up before kickoff. I wouldn't wait too long to pull the trigger if you are trying to get it low. Just a hunch.

Hmm I'll have to try that excuse when i go into work in a hr.
GL tonight. Only way im doin this game is teased most likely the total leanin over w/ a NCAA line.
Hope the Billy Goats pull this one out, they are more desperate for the confidence of a win than the Record really. Not lookin good though, I heard Scott Norwood is gonna be at the game

Hey guys, I like the Bill laying the pts at home and would like to parley it with either under/over. Checking the games these two team had played Browns at most can score 3 tds while the Bills at home at most is 3tds at home. If you guys believe that BIlls def step it up at home tonight and with the weather like that browns should not be able to score much.
Remember the last game between these two? in Dec. 2007 the bills were embarassed by losing the game to the browns 8-0 due to heavy snow. Now i know its not going to be like heavy snow in NY but i was there yesterday and the weather was cold. However, the MNF has gone 9-1 on the over so im still thinking...
lean is Bills and not sure...
