They graded my Chiefs bet tonight as a loser...SMH....everyone check your accounts to make sure they didn't screw you either! Shady ass book....

Never had a issue with Bookmaker. Never heard of anybody complaining about them.
There are many shady sports books out there, but Bookmaker isn't one of these. Bovada get its fair share of complaints, like just stealing your funds outright. Seen many of these outfits come and go over the last 10-15 years. Been involved with Covers.com for a long time and never have seen a complaint on Bookmaker. Then again, I read only a very small % of all the post made here. There used to be a popular outfit called "sportsbook" a number of years ago that screwed everybody that had money in accounts with them. Eventually they disappeared in the wind. Have to be people here that remember them.
I'm only sharing my limited experience. Maybe some more other veterans can share there thoughts.
I'm curious though, have you had another experience w Bookmaker, aside from the current one, that would lead you to the conclusion they were shady?
How about anybody else?

Bookmaker has screwed me over a few times. They took duplicate plays from me because of a system malfunction on their part. Their payouts only $300 at a time through Moneygram. They always had an excuse for a payout . If I got a payment I had to wait another week for the next payout. The latest was last year they pulled a bait and switch on me promised a 100% match on any deposit over $300. You can guess what happen I got 10% and when I tried getting my money back I had to accumulate so many points first to get my money back. Now I have FanDuel and two local casinos never a payout problem. I had prior issues with 5 Dimes too.

I’ve been with BM for the better part of a decade now, moreso out of laziness and convenience, rather than them being a great book. I agree that their payouts are often seamless, but recently, since the pandemic, their “house rules” on baseball (especially the KBO) is absurd. More than once, I had a game rained out, had it count as action even in the next day. But what’s worse is that they aren’t consistent. If my bet loses (after the rain delay) they will count it as a loss. If my bet wins (after the delay) they will count it as a push. It’s literally, heads I lose, tails you also lose. That was what I meant about them being a “shady” book. And then this happens last night when a winning bet is graded as a loss. I get mistakes happen, but it is getting to be too much. Need Prop 27 to pass in CA so I can finally find other alternatives.

Bookmaker more solid than a local bookie and even some brick-and-mortar shops. Has payed 5 digit same day payouts without flinching multiple times.
That being said, they aren’t known to be a “bonus” book. They deal with grading bets and paying out. Here are better books for the recreational player you should consider like DK, FD, or heritage/Bodog types.

Bookmaker is the one book EVERYONE should have.
Not the only book you should have, but everyone should have an account there.
Everyone has issues from time to time - but they are rock solid (as of today) on payouts - even very big payouts - and they are just a super middle of the road sportsbook.
