Bmore, your second paragraph isn't entirely true. For arguments sake both qbs run and throw extremely well. And after watching the second half of the Sea/Atl game, it appeared Sea got back in rhythm. Think of of many points they left on the field in the first half. Last week against Was, it took them a quarter to get their legs. Against Atl, it took most of the first half, but no points. Think about how quickly Sea put up 28 in the second half. Carrol lost that game not the team. SF will be ready from the start with the same type of offense that is similar to Carolina. Go look back and see what Cam did to Atl, a team they are familiar with and perhaps you will understand why Vegas has the SF as the fave.

i agree with just about everything except the GB -3.5 over CHI part. jay cutler got hurt right before or right after halftime, and the bears ended up playing the 3rd stringer caleb hanie yet still only lost by 7. if cutler does not get hurt, the bears have a great great chance to win that game straight up.

Couldnt agree more. The Notre Dame line was perfectly pitched. I fell for it..Thought there was enormous value in ND when you considered their strength of schedule, all the trend thats clearly pointed to ND (including one that had never lost!). The game wasnt even close.

The clock management from Seattle was so atrocious. Even then Steve Martin nearly gave them a long field goal attempt for the win!
For me the +4 is not huge value, this I totally agree with but I am more then happy to pay the juice on the ML (already did when line was -3) because I am totally convinced Atlanta will not close this out, even if they are well in the game 4th quarter.
I also hope to get a great price in running. If Atlanta scored a TD early and I pray they do I might even get the 49ers + points. If I get that is theee gift of the century. In the regular season public perception will drive lines below or above them what they should be. Trend watchers and situational bettors will take advantage of this...

Value....Home team shouldnt have to lay 4 points to an unproven team. I just pounded the ML and took -3 in running. Sure Falcons could cover but my point is for various reasons I feel they have very little chance of winning this match. A leopard doesn't change it's spots. Atlanta has never performed in the playoffs. if Hawks were rested a week they win easy on Sunday.
I firmly believe San Fran wins this game. If they dont I am down 5k. tough loss but I won big last weekend by trusting my gut and this weekend I am doing it again. Considering history how can any Falcons backers trust them?

I will play in running again if I can get 3 or less...This is my second fav play this year. My my fav lookup my fav play of the year thread....Pats romped the Rams....This won't be as easy. I wouldn't expect it to be. This is about sweating for my 3333k...

I don't believe San Fran blows out the Falcons. I think there is a completely different gameplan for the Falcons. ALOT more conservative. if you play smart football and you are the better team most times you win. Atlanta look to be one big mistake waiting to happen...
Because of what I expect to be a conservative gameplan there's always a chance of a cover. But for me the play is San Fran ML and if I get a good price in running (and I expect to) I go bet San Fran again...
Botom line sometimes the value, the trends and the situation don't matter..I can give you plenty of examples. Turner won't be up against a tired defence this week. he has been average this season and here is where San Fran has a big advantage. if they stop the run and I fully expect them to then this makes Atlanta very one dimensional. if this happens Matty will eventually make mistakes. it's just a matter of time.
I don't believe San Fran blows out the Falcons. I think there is a completely different gameplan for the Falcons. ALOT more conservative. if you play smart football and you are the better team most times you win. Atlanta look to be one big mistake waiting to happen...
Because of what I expect to be a conservative gameplan there's always a chance of a cover. But for me the play is San Fran ML and if I get a good price in running (and I expect to) I go bet San Fran again...
Botom line sometimes the value, the trends and the situation don't matter..I can give you plenty of examples. This is about the MATCHUP and the advantage San Fran has on the coaching side if the ball.....The Niners are the right side. Sweating on 4 points is NOT fun. especially with guys that perennially let you down this time of year...
I just have such belief I have capped this game right. I don't care if every great covers capper is on Atlanta. I truly truly believe this play makes me money...Niners ml and again in running....

I've also noticed Falcons backers giving value , trends and situational theories to backup their play. I haven't seen many footballing reasons why they are taking Atlanta, except hoping CK chokes...and San Fran sucked against divisional rivals Rams and Seahawks (both bad matchups and situations)....

There once was a QB that was 0-3 to start his playoff career. He had 2 probowl WR's, one of them was in his 2nd year, he had a probowl TE and a solid RB.
