last 4 road game SF gave up 21/ 46 /20 /25 pure points on defense. The last 2 teams SF played @ home Minny and Gbay ..2 real bad road teams..

2) I know I'm a complete square, who should I listen to.

In this case , it is the Niner's pass rush.
It is also about their opponents ability to account
for this in their game plan and their capability to

KC went down TWICE.... BIG and made the adjustments to win, and win BIG. SF just powered to wins with their strength, and never looked back, they didn't face any adversity.

The bottom line to this is to weigh ALL aspects of
both teams strengths and weaknesses fairly and
objectively , without bias to a predetermined
outcome , not only in this matchup , but in every
wager you contemplate. Doing this consistently
in my 40 years of doing this has saved me from
making a lot fo bad bets.

Rushing Offense

The Niners are known and well respected for their
Rushing Offense, so Is Tennessee. KC outrushed
Tennessee and they did it solelly to counteract the
Titans Pass coverage scheme.

Passing Offense

You are correct in your assessment of the Niners
pass defense . Beyond Sherman, I do not think
the Niners have the speed to defend the KC WR
speed and improvisational skills on a consistent
basis.

Rushing Defense

KC based on Down and Distance, played Zero and
sold out to stop the Titans rush offense . This was a
high risk strategy that worked vs Tennessee , once
KC adjusted to their blocking scheme. This same
strategy may / or may not work vs the Niners. I'm
sure the Niners saw the same thing I did and may
go to " play action " change the dynamic for the SB.

Pass Defense

The Niners pass rush is the key here. FWIW , the
Titans used some creative schemes to rush the QB
and KC countered with some very creative pass
blocking schemes, I expect this to be a key area in
determining the result of this game.

As I said , I'm looking forward to seeing the tactical
aspects of this game play out in real time.

In other words= SF is the better team. They eliminated any teams chance of giving them adversity.

But slso= see Saints and Rams game. They beat adversity.

Kc rely entirely on one thing . Mahomes. He fails, the team fails.

Niners have run game. Niners have defense. Who beat the high offense buffalo bills.= Hostetler ,a run game and defense.

Mahomes is the superstar who carried his team. That always loses a super bowl. Run game and defense always wins.

Mahomes is just another young Elway, Marino, in this scenario.

Garoppolo was around the process with Pats. He has two rings.
