gaither for asomugha?  once they pull that one off, they should trade troy smith for drew brees and will smith.

even the raiders aren't dumb enough to trade the best cornerback in the league for a guy who is often out of shape and may not even be a starter for the ravens.

That trade almost went down during the draft...Gaither has the ability to be one of the best OT's in football...

do you have a link for that?

gaither is fat and lazy.  asomugha is the best corner in the league.  there is no way that trade goes down 1 for 1.

It was a rumored trade in the Baltimore Sun back in April,what day,not sure...When he got hurt versus the Patriots there offense was a mess until he returned...

in my opinion, aomugha is one of the very top players in the league being the best at such an important and difficult to fill position.  guys like him don't come along very often.

guys like gaither are a dime a dozen- a lot of talent, but overweight with a questionable attitude and work ethic who don't come close to reaching their potential.  but who knows, maybe he'll turn it around.
