I was watching TV the other night, between bowl games and reports on the fiscal cliff.. And Praise the Lord! the US government has saved us again.. You really gotta admire those guys.. Saving us from disaster..
But I digress.. I kept seeing this commercial from the SPCA, about adopting cats and dogs and saving them from the slaughterhouse for only eighteen dollars a month. Less than the cost of your premium channels..
I love animals, but there are just too many cats and dogs.. And too few responsible animal owners.. But to elevate them to the level of people is just stupid..
Dogs and cats don't seem to be able to control their sexual desires and maintain a healthy population that can be well fed and cared for.. Maybe they are more like humans than I thought..
Maybe we need to invent some Kittie Condoms.. Or some Rover Rubbers.. And then we could get a lot of folks back to work, installing them.. Hell yeah the government can pay their salaries.. We're paying for everything else.
I know what you are thinking.. That's dumber than naming a cold front..
But I think I have a real solution for this problem. The dog and cat one..
Asia.. That's right. As a matter of fact the same folks that we owe zillions of dollars to can be the answer to our financial disaster.. You know how they love dogs and cats..
Cooked.. With rice.. And while it is a bit difficult to pick up a Chihuahua liver with chopsticks I still think we have a saleable product.. And Moo Goo Guy Pit Bull is definitely hard to resist.
So every time they send us a trillion dollars, we'll ship em a container ship full of cats and dogs..
We can use the same ones that Wal-Mart uses to get all the lead infested Chinese crap over here.. They're going back empty anyway..
This really sounds like a win-win situation..
Congrats to Alabama on wining another National Championship.. I think we all saw it coming. But I bet the Aggies still think you're their biatch..
I'd of loved to see that game again on the big stage.. Reckon we will.. In about ten months..
If Notre Dame didn't have the Shining Girls School for the Blind on their schedule they'd never have been there.. Hey.. Don't pick on me. I'm as Catholic as the next guy..
And speaking of watching T. V.. I saw a commercial for a AIDS test you can take at home.. I can't remember the name of the product.. They said that you should wait at least three months since your "Risk Event" before taking the test..
That leaves a lot to the imagination.. "Risk Event..." I wonder what would be considered a risk event..
I guess sharing a needle with a crack ho might be a risk event.. Or letting Bubba plow your back forty could get you in trouble..
How bout avoiding these "Risk Events" in the first place..
But that would take some personal responsibility.. And that is certainly not what this country is all about..
At least not anymore..
