Arizona @ Stl Rams...This is the Battle of Terrible Offensive Lines
again, The Last 2 national TV games Philly/NY and Cowboys/Bears all had
bad o lines...Arizona has allowed 14 sacks in four games, which is tied
with St. Louis for the second-most in that category...so which one is
gonna get the worst of it Thursday Night? Well here is some poop,
Dolphins Cameron Wake had a career-best 4.5 sacks against Zona
Sunday, a half-sack short of tying the Dolphins’ record.... routinely
beating rookie right tackle Bobby Massie....Who Is This Bobby Massie?
Bobby Massie:some scouts said he fell in the draft cause they thought he would
struggle learning a NFL playbook and it’s protections they questioned
his intelligence....Cardinals rookie RT Bobby Massie "has not looked ready for a primetime role" That don't sound good... STL defensive Lineman Chris Long, Howie's son,He will attack the right side of the Cards offensive line, This is a HUGE mismatch!
What will the Cards do? They can't run the ball,The Cardinals
are 30th in rushing, averaging 68 yards per game. In their
overtime win against Miami, they had a Miserable 29 yards on 15
carries....And Saying The offensive line has struggled to protect Kevin
Kolb is a understatement....Yet Sam Bradford is not getting a free pass
at that also.. But At Least the Rams run better @ 90 yards a game
compared to 68 for the Cards...Zona is 31st on offense in total yards
with the Rams not far behind at 27th but Zona has had 13 more O plays
then Zona... I give the Edge to the Rams on the Offenses because they
run the ball better, 3.7 for Rams and 2.7 for Cards AND They have one
Great FG kicker, The Guy already popped one for 60 yards...he also is 12
for 12, Zonas kicker has a long of 47 and is 7 for 7...Gotta give that
STL kicker the edge.
Defense: All the Hoopla on Arizona's defense yet they rank 17th in
Total yards, That may give STL a scoring edge as they have a Kicker that
can kick them 60 yarders..Yardage a game is pretty even on these
teams,Zona 357 and Rams giving up 348...against the run, Zona is 14th
and STL is 26th, Miami put it on Zona in the passing game(394 yards)
and that be a rookie who did that..On the other Side a pretty good
Rookie for Seahawks put up only 160 passing on the Rams...
So whats a guy to do here...To sum it up...I Like the
Fact the Rams have a 60+ yard FG kicker, I like Jeff Fisher alot,I like
the home crowd Noise Thursday and I like Cards have to travel on 4 days
between this game, Doing some reading I sense Fisher will have his
troops ready on the short week..Cards also went into OT last Sunday...Kolb is sacked every 8 times he drops back to pass...Massie
is a Rookie, The Noise will get him as well as Chris Long..Kolb will be
hurried to pass,oh yea, while he is hurrying his throws The Rams are # 2
in the League in getting Interceptions(8)

Kolb sacked 8 times and 2 interceptions, I think we are starting to see the real Kolb and zona team coming out now.
IMO I think the Rams are going to be pumped playing primetime and this will be a let down game for Arizona.

There could be a slight chance Zona was looking forward to this division game somewhat...that's why they almost lost to Miami at home.
Of the 3 undefeated teams: Zona, Atl and Texans...the most balance attack w/a great defense are the Texans - and by that I am not just talking bout this season, but going back to LY where they beat Bengals minus Johnson/Williams/Schaub and almost beat Ravens in their backyard.
Now...Atl have a great offense and a much improved defense under Nolan but their run game is better then Zona but not as great as the Texans.
Cards of the 3 are fakers imo. They can't really pass the ball well, good but not great = elite, and they can't run for shit. That's a receipe for diaster going into this Thurs.
Cards will be the 1st undefeated team to go down this Thurs and being the fact it's a short week doesn't bold well for them. Bottom line, you can't go on the road and continue to win games if you can't run the ball. Eventually...teams going to figure out your weakpoint and they are going to attack.

Food for thought. ARI defensive stud Darnell Dockett didn't paly against MIA and will be ready for this game. With him and Calais Campbell on that line, Bradford isn't going to have much time in the pocket at all. Both teams have poor O-line plays, but imo the match ups favor the Cards here.

not sure about zona being a joke but you certainly are one after that statement. this team has the #1 defense in the league.
I dont think that stat will stick. They have played one division game and I expect the division coaches to have a better game plan and know how to play the team in ways the others do not.
Peterson is awesome for sure, he has been a big impact player but I dont see the Cards defense to keep up with the takeaway numbers and I dont see the offense improving much..so that means more losses in the future.

AZ great D...they kinda had their underperforming game this past Sunday. But, home doggies have been very tough. Two weeks in a row in this situation for STL, they fared pretty well as dogs vs the Seahawks.
