I believe the Saints have about 5% chance of making the playoffs. The motivation factor was gone when they lost to the 49ers. If they're so "pumped up" for this game since it's a must win, dont you think they were pumped up for the 49ers game? That was a must win too..

Yeah sure they have a rivalry and saints have owned the falcons, but that doesn't mean garbage. This is sports, history is history, you cant just predict what's going to happen in todays game because of what's happened before. 

Falcons should come out motivated since they lost earlier in the season against the saints. Weatherspoon wasn't in the lineup when they played them last time and I believe he will make a huge impact. Other then that Asante is questionable. 
The saints are also missing harris  and with strief being limited, I can see some trouble with the offensive line for saints. With that said my pick for today is the home team.

The Falcons may be the most overrated 10-1 team in the history of the NFL.  Seriously - when you look at their pathetic schedule, and the fact that they've barely beaten some terrible teams - to bet the house on them is ... not smart.

The Falcons have played ONE good team (Denver) and they got Peyton and company at home - in week 2 before Peyton and his team really got into the groove.  But kudos for that win.  Otherwise, they've played mediocre to terrible teams.  Except maybe the Bucs who are close to good.  And Washington, who aren't half bad.

Record of Atlanta Opponents after taking out record against the World Beater Falcons 46-64.  Ouch.

Good luck with your bet.

I am waiting for the Falcons to open at home in the playoffs, and betting against Matt Ryan.  The one QB who has been worse than Tony Romo in the playoffs.  0-3.

Only difference is 49ers are in beast mode right now and Atlanta is barely winning each game. Not to mentions the pick 6s. If the 49ers played Atlanta right now they would control the entire game. Just look at the superbowl odds. Atlanta gets double pay out to the 49ers.

i think this was the best statement. after playing a hard fought, brutal game against the niners, i dont think they will be ready for the falcons. this is a statement game for atlanta and good spot for them. the traveling team on thursday nights have not done so well and i dont expect the saints to have the same motivation they had the past couple of weeks. atlanta knows this can be the knockout punch.

Does anyone else have a problem with the sound on thier TV? Other channels are okay, but NFL network is not working.
