I don't think we should anoint Tebow "the savior" because his 4-1 record has been accomplished with some terrific defensive games.

But I think it's fair to say that Rodgers situation, outside of taking over for a legend, has been really beneficial to him.

Alex Smith was in that same draft and he really hasn't had any stability in systems or coaches. Maybe that means we can justify the arrogance of Harbaugh.

I still think they can make the playoffs though even with this average team.

Finishing the year 2-3 wont get them in the playoffs

And thats the best I see them finishing.  I still dont think they will go 9-7 though.  Nor, do I think 9-7 record gets into the playoffs

You're betting record doesn't bother me in the least. When have I ever said that it did? Please reference that one for me.

It's your constant cock sucking of the Packers that does it for me and the several other people that say the same things as I do when you appear in a thread.

We know they are the best team in football. We know they are undefeated. We don't need you chiming into a 20 different threads and posting the same exact post in them repeatedly.

I agree with the 9-7 fails to make the playoff.

I think Detroit beats Oakland, San Diego and Minnesota.

They lose to N.O. and G.B.

Do that and it should be good enough to get them in. If they don't make it at 10-6 I would still call that a good season with just a bad break at the end.

Home against SD and at Oakland I think could both go either way.  Have to win them both, I just dont see it happening.

Not alot has changed on this 49er team since Harbaugh took over, yet they are 9-1 this year winning all 4 cross country trips.  I refuse to believe Alex Smith just "turned it on" and lean more towards good coaching makes players better.

Heaven forbid hes a smidgen arrogant....he might be the only one in the NFL

Regardless, i hope everyone has a great thanksgiving!  more improtant things in life than arguing football.....although it is fun.

It could go either way. Wouldn't shock me if they lost both either. It could get to the point where S.D. doesn't have anything to play for at that point and it could be a huge game for the Lions.

The Oakland game is a crapshoot. I hate betting the Raiders because you never know what Oakland team is going to show up.

It was flooded with Lions fans talking NFC championship, home field, getting a ring.

    It was pathetic.

All cause a 5-0 start in which they should have been 3-2 getting 2 collapses from bad teams.

Lions fan guaranteed a Turkey Day win and ending Rodgers career.

    Lions are bad.

They show a 7-4 record but its a joke.  They wont make the playoffs.  They will get crushed at New Orleans next week.

All this hype and bla bla.

A team full of thugs and dirty players.  A coach who cant handle a "rough" handshake

A chance to come out and make a statement in front of the world and they lay an egg.  lucky to even score in the game.  If the Packers didnt have a 24 point lead they dont give up 2 tds.

Stafford is garbage.  What does he have like 13 picks his last 4 games????

Lions didnt stop GB in the first half.  Flags and dropped passes stopped them.

Enjoy watching the playoffs on tv!!!

What Lions fans were talking superbowl???  Wow, if you cant admit the shit talking the Lions were doing the first 5 weeks you dont belong here.

You stalk me around calling me a homer and a douche.  Thats fine.  My team deserves all the shit i talk.

17 in a row and counting.

Guess the Lions aren't the only ones that are thugs.

No man, the Red Wings are good, the Tigers are good - the Lions - they suck and they make Detroit feel ashamed. One mediocre football team that may lose all of its remaining games. Idiots!

I love how just because 20 consecutive #1 picks appear to be paying dividends that they think they can stick their chests out and act as if they're the 1960's Packers,1980's 49ers or the 2000 Patriots. They're a mediocre team with a record that would indicate otherwise.Their victories over Minnesota and Dallas were aberrations, having fallen behind 20-0 and 27-3 respectively. They fell behind CAROLINA(!!!) at home 24-7.Is that the M.O. of a "good team"?To fall behind by three touchdowns just to show what a good comeback team they are? They're trying to remind that town of the 1980 "bad boy" Detroit Pistons. That team,as opposed to this one,had the talent and personnel to back up what they did. This team thinks it's "bad" enough to have their quarterback starting brawls?!!If the local fans, coaches, announcers and reporters were to disregard their bias and be objective, they would admit Ndonkeykong Suh's a dirty piece of s h i t.Looking at the remainder of their schedule,it appears as if they'll finish 9-7 and need help to get into the playoffs. And if,by chance, they do make it into the playoffs, they'll get embarrassed in the 1st round, either of which would be beyond disappointing for a team that started 5-0 and were a 4th down stop vs. SF from starting 6-0,

The Lions is not really a suck team this year, but they need to play togather. They play Green Bay Packers. They were not togather as team. That is why they loose the game. Football is team sports. Take a look at Packers, Patriots, Steelers, Ravens etc. You will see the difference.

While I agree there are problems and going 2-5 in the last 7 is bad. Look at the teams they have lost to though.

Saints, Packers, Falcons, 49ers, and a season split with the Bears. Isn't this about where they should be?

They don't have an impressive win, but they really don't have a bad loss either(the pummeling in Chicago was pretty bad though). They are beating the teams they should and losing to teams that will either make the playoffs or be in the race.

And thanks to Atlanta, Chicago, NYG, and Dallas all losing as well yesterday, they still have a shot at a wild card.

The downside to last nights game(which I'm pretty sure we all expected the Lions to lose) is they now HAVE to win the next 3. They can't afford a loss in any of the next three games.

They don't want to make the last game in Green Bay a must win.

Shitty second half today but the playoff chase is still alive.

The prevent D almost prevented the Lions from winning today.

This thread died down after two Lions wins. I'm sure if they were to miss the playoffs though it would pick right back up with all the bashing. Way to stay consistent people.

I was on the Lions early but they seem to have legit and serious concerns right now.
This game against the angry Chargers is beyond scary.
    It is December after all....
