Bill Bellichik.
After watching this Sunday night game with 2 very good teams the Colts and the Chargers play, I see why. We see how terrible Norv Turner has been with this Charger team who has been underachieving. Almost blowing a 23 pt lead and making that challenge that has no chance. Having Philip Rivers throw 3 times in their own 10 yard line on 1st-3rd downs when you have LT only to let the Colts score a TD from a fumble.
Now look at Tony Dungy. I am not sure who called that 4th down play with the Colts and try to get cute and of course got penalized 5 yards and cost themselves 30 seconds even though that was supposed to help them. I know a FG attempt under 30 yards by Adam Vinatteri is considered a freebie to them but would a guy like Bill Bellichik do the same thing?
OF COURSE NOT! Bill Bellichick is the smartest coach in the league and we know he would not make careless decisions like Norv and Tony would. Why do people hate Bellichik for "running up the score"?
HE JUST WANTS TO MAKE SURE HIS TEAM WINS.
Dungy or the offensive coordinator I just have no idea what they were doing on 4th down and 1 only to hurt themselves with that penalty. They probably thought the 3 points was free. The Chargers know its just an act trying to get them offsides. Come on, no way would the Colts go for it at that time. Bill Bellichick would just kick the FG with no hesistation.
You know whats worst, i bet Indy would have just settled to have the last play of the game and kick the game winning FG instead of scoring the TD. Would Bellichik do that? Nope, because he makes sure he gets the points first and not play to win with a FG that will win the game or lose it.
I also noticed that most of Peyton Mannings comebacks does not involve him scoring a Touchdown. Most of his comebacks are last second field goals. They play way too conservative and the Colts are just SOFT like the chargers.
NEW ENGLAND WILL ROLL THIS YEAR BECAUSE THEY HAVE THE BEST MASTERMIND IN THE NFL AND THAT IS BILL BELLICHIK.
