This is the first time I've felt compelled to post on here and I have to say that I agree with with you Hans, and I was telling one of my employees the same thing this morning. Jones has completely ruined this organization that I have loved all my life. Hans, I feel your pain. I grew up a Raiders fan in NY simply because my father was a Raiders fan. It was great to see them pound the Washington Redskins in the Superbowl so many years ago... but my how things have gone astray.
By the time I was old enough to grow a personality of my own and really think about the team I was supporting, I realized that this was not a team committed to excellence...

I only fully pieced together this full picture recently. I have always hated Jones for certain moves, and at times I had a love/hate thing going for him because deep down I think he actually DOES care more about winning than making money. The problem, which I finally realized, is he doesn't know HOW to do it himself, although he thinks he does. He's the ego maniac that tries to perform open heart surgery on himself because he thinks hes smarter than the doctor.
At times, I think he genuinely thought he was helping the team regardless of the outcome (signing Deion, etc), but at other times his ego blinded his judgement (firing Johnson, signing TO, basically every draft pick he every personally made, etc).
I have been highly dissapointed in this team since the Giants game last year. They were clearly the more talented team, and pretty much owned the first half because of it. However, the Giants came out and just punched them in the mouth in the second half, and they have had no answer for it. It showed the blueprint that this team is soft, and caves under pressure, and bows down to the bully and begs to not be hit anymore. I hate that in a football team.
The Cowboys under Johnson were talented and tough. Aikman, Emmitt, and Irvin were fucking warriors. Moose and Stepnoski were MEN. They didnt fuck around. They took pride in destroying people. THis current Cowboys team, while capable, does not, and its a reflection of the way they are managed and constructed, and that falls on Jones.
