This guarantees I lose something on the game lines tonight, though well ahead on profit from 2 separate prop bets (despite very heavy juice (not posted)

Big tip of the hat tonight to 49ers QB Mac Jones (regardless game outcome)

Very unlucky but ultimately makes no diff....still a loss.

Winner. 

1 - 1 tonight.

So that "hedge bet" reduces my profit loss from what would have been -2 units (Rams -3 -200 *BB) down to just -1 unit loss.

Glad I hedged!......although sometimes it backfires on me and my original bet still wins 

 Meanwhile, I won my 2 in-game prop bets for a good profit (weren't posted bets) and won both my Cubbies earlier today and my New Mexico State ML bet as well

This game is testament to the critical importance of accounting for INJURIES when handicapping....on a game-to-game basis of course - especially early in a week when extent of injuries may not be fully known - but also for "futures" prop bets - often played in the preseason.
