Split 1-1 yesterday. Getting a little annoyed now.. so I've been working harder. My goal was to pick 70% when I started posting at Covers 3 weeks ago, but I actually want to hover over 75%-80%. Yes it sounds foolish, but if you don't set high goals then what's the point in life?
Hoping for a nice 2-0 sweep today. Love these 2 plays and have been eying them since yesterday.
*3 Units - Indiana Pacers - I love betting on this team at home because they get no love. They don't get the credit they deserve. Often times they go down in a game, only to make a comeback and cover the spread. I love taking teams that are not only expected to cover due to my research but also teams that have the tendency to backdoor a lot of games. This is the team. Charlotte played well against Orlando, but get real, the Magic just slept in for that game. No Wallace means better offensive flow (imo) but the defense suffers. He's a big part of that team and he's the type of guy you need against teams like Indiana. It's hard to get into a shooting match with Indiana - because when they're hot, they're HOT. I expect Indy to win by 10+ and bring the Bobcats down to earth.
*3 Units - San Antonio Spurs -1.5 - It's nearing playoff time and the Spurs still haven't hit their stride. People question their road mentality and the lack of focus. BUT let's not get it twisted, the experience that this team has is still there. They are just lacking some chemistry. Miami has been getting a lot of love lately with those double digit spreads over teams like Clippers and Chicago. Big whoop, they beat teams they were supposed to. Now in comes San An, hungry for a win - a team not tanking for the lotto. I should be taking ML because the Spurs are going to beat the Heat in a tough gritty game. I don't care whose playing or whose not playing, I took all that into consideration, but at the end the Spurs roll. I've watched this team for too many years and I can smell a win coming. But I still hate the Spurs deep at heart.
*1 Unit - Parlay: Spurs -1.5 & Indiana +3

Why should they get any credit for being one of the worst teams in the league. If anything, people are being too nice to these guys considering how badly they've mailed it in at times this season. I took these losers tonight as well, but let's not get carried away here. They are what they are.

We all have opinions. I just personally feel they are undervalued at times considering how hot they can get - and how many times they've back doored a spread. Not to mention, their line has been too low at home all year. They're a decent home team for one of the worst teams.
