Why? They beat them in the vaunted NBA Cup. I wouldn't pick the Knicks they got lucky with Boston's health issues but certainly belong atop the Eastern Conference. They are an elite team not very deep but one of the best starting fives in the league. They were going to be underdogs but not going to +200 Vegas respected them.

the most underrated knick is Jeremy sochan, who knows Everything about and Everyone on the Spurs.

Im loving that the media not only is all over the Knicks but now they feel like they're all correct because of game 1.
Game 1 where the knicks were way more rested and Spurs off 7 game series. When did they blow the lead? Late in the game when they were tired. Also NY on a crazy streak hard to break that when you're not got the fresh legs.
Spurs at 11/10 now for the series? I'll take that.

I get that the NY media is a lot louder than the Spurs & certainly New York fans in general, but most even on ESPN were already crowning San Antonio going into the series, and essentially calling Wemby a " Cheat code" --- and to add to that, due to the first 3 Spurs series where the team that won game 1 lost game 2, everyone is already loading up on Spurs to bounce back here...
I get what you're saying , but not so fast... majority still think the Spurs are deeper/ better role players, maybe they'll go to Hack-a-Robinson and throw the Knicks offense off, and/ or that Wemby will bounce back in a big way in game 2... which is entirely possible.
Also, keep in mind after every Spurs home playoff loss thus far, San Antonio has won the very next game... so in the end most will end up thinking Spurs bounce back in game 2 regardless of the Knicks streak. We shall see.
