Why on earth are the Mavs laying -10 pts to anybody?

I watch these guys play and they can't even hold a lead to a bunch of pick up game scrubs! Give me the Timberpups tomorrow!

I've made money betting against DAL at home this season.  But when the books retain them as DD-faves@home (which they usually fail to cover), something's not right.  The public can easily see DAL's ATS record at home. So now that MIN just overachieved in 2 straight DD wins (albeit vs LAC and NYK), it's now a huge road dog?  MIN has been an awful 2-6 ATS on the road this month.  I think I'm gonna stay away from this one.

Dallas will cover tomorrow. My play of the year.

i think the spread is that high because if u bet the money line and lose the books make alot of money from it or juice is less from money line... haha lets go mavs

Dont get me wrong i live and die by my mavs, watch every game, but right now they have no business laying 10 or more to any team. There's always a point in the game (especially towards the latter stages) where the other team catches a little momentum and then dallas collapses whatever lead they have. If you take Dirk out of the game in the 4th, who's there to pick up the slack? Just my 2 cents. But then again this is the NBA "where the unthinkable happens..."

The Mavs have failed to cover 17 straight home games as a favorite.  This has all occurred this year.  Does anyone realize how insane that is?  How can anyone argue that the Mavs as a DD fav at home sounds fishy?  Or that there's value in laying those points?  The OP nailed it: the Mavs at home is the single most over-valued play in the 09-10 NBA Season.   And it's not even close.  

now I'm not saying you shouldnt bet the twolves. But as a linesmaker, your job is to get even action. Hence the line.

Yea they have been sucking i know this but you just dont under stand its friday night in dallas and they will put these puppies out.

DIRK goes of for 30 plus and mavs roll to silence all the talks for at least one night.  Too many mismatches all over the court.  Might have to call for a backdoor cover.

horrible game to bet. Dallas could win by 9, they could win by 13 and it will most likely fluctuate around that number.

Check the ref crew tomorrow and bet the total.

you guys have to look at the upsides from both teams
