I understand all that and if a discussion was what was positive that's good to know something came out of it.
But for me, I was WAY off on this one (and not just for the thread's purpose, other things too ...$$$$$$$) and every poster including yourself telling me otherwise about both teams came to fruition.
Denying their shortcomings throughout...this IS the same shi*** Knicks team that deferred to Melo and Jr and lost a nice crop of games throughout the season. This is not the 13 game win streak Knicks. NOT EVEN CLOSE!
To be this off (I.e. Knicks were off since the opening tip) closing up shop and regrouping with a very select group of games next year is the right thing to do.
Not only that, both the Knicks and Nets are the teams I know the best and say sayonara to the last of the two very soon!.
