I'm leaning under in the Lakers/sixers. Both teams coming off b2b. Both teams  possibly tanking or at least aware of position. Nerlens Noel playing well and sixers running less, on top of that I log on here and the touts are all preaching over.

There isn't a Lebron every year. There are plenty of rock solid big men this year that terrible teams would love to have (especially ones without true centers: Lakers Knicks).

Jeremy Lin (illness) will not play against the 76ers on Monday.
He has an allergy issue and will miss his second straight game. Wayne Ellington will get another start and Jabari Brown will be the sixth man for the Lakers tonight. 

We need to write a screenplay Scal! The film will be called "The Tank" and it will be the opposite of every sports feel-good film. We can reference all the cliches from those films and do a great parody. In the end, the team blows the franchises draft hopes by winning the last game of the season (because the coach, i.e., Ty Corbin, had an ax to grind).

You might want to be careful betting the farm on Denver Nuggets against Golden St. the last game of the season.  Many have probably forgotten that the two teams played each other last game of the year as well!  I remember it well because I bet the house on Denver ATS and ML.  Golden St. sat 7 out of their 8 best players (suited up only 7 guys I think), and yet they *still* beat Denver rather easily.  It was a complete joke/farce of a game.  Draymond Green had like a zillion points I think along with a few of their scrubs.  My account took a major hit from that game, and I am still scarred today from that experience..

If the Lakers cost us this parlay, I'm gonna burst. My god, Scott is playing his 2nd and 3rd stringers and the sixers are still finding a way to lose. This not just tanking, by the sixers, this has to be illegal. Thank god it's only 50 bucks.

Scott should have been hired as a player/coach for moments like this. He could just sub himself in and help make sure that the Lakers lose.

It's only apropos Tank-A-Mania 2 go to OT (Detroit Milwaukee were Detroit missed the cover by 1 last year being the first).

This is why you can't bet the NBA consistently late in the season and stay far away from the Lakers 95% of the time in these spots. You just don't know who is going to show up!

He didn't get the memo and you can't stop the guy!

Now, the Lakers have a real shot of losing this pick if they somehow continue to win and catch the Magic. If they lose this pick, this entire season is a dumpster fire.

You can write it down right now: There is no way IN HELL that the Lakers are beating New Orleans next game. It's only a matter of what will likely be a huge line, even at home in LA.

Kupchak and Scott will go Kathy Bates from Misery on Brown and Clarkson's legs pre-game to prevent a win against the Pelicans.

It's just incredible...really it is...

No reason in the world for the Lakers to win this game...none at all...

I put 50 bucks on them in a for fun 4 team parlay. Go back and read the thread. Scal liked the ML but was saying throughout that the sixers had as much incentive to lose as the Lakers (since they might get LA's pick)  and were much better at tanking.

Sorry, I do not get your logic. Lakers have to be in bottom 5 and Philly in bottom 3. So Philly had no interest to win and Lakers could take this game. Am I missing something?

Bb posted a $50 play on a ML parlay. I ended up putting nothing on the game precisely because the Sixers needed the lakers to win, not lose, and I said this specifically.

Bb asks you to 'read more carefully'.

I won't even give you that much credit. You didn't read shi* because your post is a total misinterpretation of the thread where there are 44 more posts than the OP.

Now get back in your hole bit**. I'm tired of seeing you in my threads and others running your sorry as* mouth and contribute nothing else otherwise (and talk about contributing, BB created a thread that went far beyond this game in terms of thoughts on the season). Take some notes and keep your mouth shut.

My only question is, if you're tanking why are you signing d-leaguers that actually have some game. Why not get the worst d-leaguers you can find? If these guys are this inept at losing how will they actually build a winning team?
