This is not a joke. Yes I have smoked a bowl but that's not really what led me to ask this. I've been thinking about it for the past few weeks. It's just ridiculous how we live moment to moment as if this garbage is so important and we are all just gonna be dead in like no time.
Its so fun but is there really any meaning?

It's an income for some it's entertainment for some and a pastime / hobby for others....don't know why we are put here because no one has ever gone to the other side and come back .. All I know is we are here now and want to make the best of life with what makes me happy...watching/following sports make me happy and betting on sports makes it that much more interesting!!

For your information I just worked a 60 hour week so just shut the hell up.
Back to what I was saying. Its just weird how we forget that we are gonna die someday, and then it hits you all of a sudden. And then it leaves you again. And you wind up rooting for whatever over or under you have, or some other player who is just another human thats gonna die. I mean it's just so sad and such a twisted sick thing to be alive and yet know that you will die one day too

We are in this crazy dynamic cosmic universe, the meaning for us is what you enjoy, and most experienced people will tell you, that comes down to the small stuff. Seeing someone you love smile, ice cold water when you are dying of thirst, ice cream on a hot day by the beach, a nice rib eye medium rare with a glass of wine or scotch after a successful run at work, etc.....it's the small moments that are true happiness, and that collectively is the "meaning" of life. Concentrate just in that pal, enjoy the ride, and be a good person, the more positive you give this world the more positive you get, it's a fundamental law of the universe...

Circle of life, death and rebirth, death is just as natural as life, don't worry about it and just enjoy your present existence. You can't recall years before your birth which in essence meant you were "dead" wasn't so bad was it?

Honestly, this is one of the best answers I've ever seen to this question. Really good stuff actually.
But still, the question remains. Does it not weird you guys out how we just forget that we will die someday and then it hits you again? It's weird how we just have all these hopes, dreams, loves, and hates, and then we just turn into dust and we'll be forgotten forever man. Look at the cemetery sometimes you wonder, who were all these people? They had feelings just like I did and now they're just gone? What will it be like to see LeBron as a 75 year old?

While we are talking philosophy, I am going to say 1 thing. I am not going to debate religion, I will not respond to anyone about this because it will turn into a long thread and this is not the place to do it.

Yep, referees who think they can cheat people and get away with it? Maybe in this world, but they will all be exposed in the next world before God.
