You are totally wrong about the thunder game. Knicks played a great game and they totally shut down westbrook and durant who was taken out of the game by kenyon. If it wasnt for a bs foul they would of lost. i was there!
but good call on tonight

I'm not saying the Knicks didn't play well defensively. They certainly did. But whether you're there or watched it on TV, the Thunder gave nowhere near the effort they gave against the Celtics, or the Clippers or the Lakers which sandwiched that game.
No need to be fully motivated like the other games mentioned when Melo and Amare were declared out long before tip.
That call was BS too. I agree with that...

Thanks, scala. I had no intention of playing this game. But reading this write-up, I decided to play it. Thanks for the nice profit. Easy win.
How is it in Korea with all the tension and threats going on by the way? Couldn't imagine living through that with that maniac ready to 'cement his legacy' with nuclear footprints...

Nice hit! Glad to hear you were on it. Same $ result on your end whether you read this or not. This game makes gambling look like a cinch...
Warriors and Knicks, respectively, played the exact type of game we both expected, although 63 PTs is just beyond atrocious against a running team like GS.

You might have thought at first this way. "Wow, this Korean man is so happy with his win when his country is under a serious threat!" Haha. Just kidding. Well, I have always felt that the outsiders of Korea find it more tensefull and dangerous than the insiders do. In Korea, nothing is different nowdays. We place a bet as usual. We order pizzas as usual. We wait for the baseball season to come happily. Am I overly insensitive? No. My friends, my office mates, they do what they do and never care about the war risk. When North Korea poses a threat, we know that they want food, supplies. Long-time-used gesture, but still working. The North knows that when they seriously starts this war behaviour, they would be the first to be bombed. Well, I hate to see that happen. After all they are my fellow country men.
Thanks again for the GS pick.

@parlayking- that game worries me. So much bad blood with Dwight in Orlando, he could have a huge game and cover the spread himself (especially since he's 'found himself' of late and has made comments deferential to Kobe being the team leader, that is, what everyone thought he should have done immediately).
Then you have the bad blood on the Magic side. But who has the bad blood? Look at the starters:
Nelson? Yes. He was here during the Dwight-gate fiasco
Vucevic? Not in Orlando but was traded for Dwight/Bynum
Harkless? Drafted last year. Not there.
Afflalo? Traded to Orlando after Dwight left.
Harris? Traded to Orlando after Dwight left.
Even the head coach wasn't the coach Dwight had the falling out with.
So when Dwight made the recent comments to the media about the team he played with being a bunch of guys nobody wanted, he's only offending ONE starter so forget that as locker room fodder.
Then you have Kobe playing like it's 2001 and we know this is a game he can really come to play to further solidify a relationship with Dwight. He comes to play every night now anyhow.
So in my eyes, Dwight has a big game, Kobe had a big game and that opens up all kinds of opportunities for the other guys who will be open when the Magic double team the aforementioned two.
Lastly, remember the Magic are really bad but have come up of late. They beat N.O. on the road, played the Heat to the last possession and beat the Sixers. The sixers are awful though and I don't like that the magic are coming in this game off a win.
For me? I'm teasing the Lakers to 4 and will find another game because I never like to lay such a huge line to a home dog (maybe the Cats being the only exception). Good luck! Hope we both hit since there's a middle with my tease and your straight up bet and hope this helps.

Exactly. We in America think every South Korean male is standing at attention in full military garb with a rifle on his shoulder at the border.
I was like, "god bless this poor soul. With this win, he can feed himself!" when in reality, you were eating a dominos pizza slice and drinking a Dr. Pepper as you typed.
Seriously good to hear you live a normal life given the threat to the North.

@scalabrine , well i am not a fan of Dwight Howard and maybe my dislike for him is impairing my judgement ...I did not look at that angle that Howard might actually be more motivated ...I think Torkulu is back in Orlando but serving a suspension on P.E.D S ...Id rather have Jameer Nelson than Nash , Affalo will be on Kobe and Kobe is playing like its 2001 and unstoppable ...I am glad i asked you cause you are 100 percent right , only way Lakers lose if they come in totally unmotivated and Magic shoot lights out and had some of same players from Howards stay with the Magic...I think this is now a no play for me ....its a tough card today ...NO Golden State vs Knicks.....I am now liking your Lakers in a tease but with who? how about Lakers and Boston ??? How tired is Boston after OKC loss ...they have been pretty hot just how motivated against sorry cats? or Memphis and Lakers ?Memphis did not have happy in last meeting with Portland and just pummeled Blazers in second half and now only giving-2 to Portland ? Thanks for your input in Lakers vs Magic... let me know what you think?

I am teasing them with the Hawks up to up to 14.5 (line is now 10.5).
Why? Hate the Hawks lineup but every team is gunning for them and the teased lines are getting too huge to pass up.
Last 8 teases if you bet against the heat:
Cleveland lost 109-105 won with tease
Sacramento 141-129 won with tease
Memphis 91-98 won with tease
Knicks 99-93 won with tease
Minny 97-81 lost by 1 pt after tease
Orlando 97-96 won with tease
Philly 102-93 won with tease
Indy 105-91 lost by 6 after tease
That's 6-2 and if not for a scuffle in the 4th in the heat/wolves game which lead to the Heat turning up their offense, it's 7-1.
Obviously many of those hit straight up anyway but I simply can't avoiding teasing a team against the Heat that starts Johan Petro. As a nets fan, you have no idea how little this guy gives you on the court and I believe he's starting tonight. Heat have won 18 in a row and a win by any amount is more than enough by a team that's beating everyone. But for the opponent, it may be their NBA finals and all-important lead on sportscenter for these mega-egos. Anyhow, that's not a posted play of significance and am only giving you my reasoning because you asked.
Good luck!
