Wait a minute? I thought the " Sharps"

were the upper echelon of gambling. I thought everybody wondered who the "sharps" were going with??? Supposedly they brought the line down two points??? This just shows, the sharps don't know any more than you or I do! They just bet more money than we do! They don't win anymore than we do, they don't lose anymore than we do. We're all in this the same. The "sharps" doesn't know any more than we do.

I read the "sharps" moved the line down to pacers +6.5. that's hilarious. They don't know any more than you and I do.

Not one person who has ever gambled since the beginning of gambling around 1700 does anyone know more than anyone else does. Well, besides the person who's getting paid to throw a game, points or whatever. They know, but no one else does, including "sharps". I laugh every time someone mentions a "sharp move" in gambling. Because it doesn't mean a damn thing! So yes, it is foolish theory and I laugh every time when I hear "sharp move". It's hilarious

Google,  "What changed the NBA line in game 7".  It says, and I quote. "Multiple sports books reported they were taking bets from "sharps" on Indiana + 8 so they adjusted the line brought it down to + 7. I laugh every time I hear someone talk about "sharps". The only "sharps" in sports betting are the books. Sad fact, but true. Books will always have the better statistical info and the better means by which to process it. You are deceiving yourself if you believe otherwise. Not only do the books have the best info, they also have the power to adjust the spread to their advantage. Every sports bettor needs to understand this; however, most ignore it. The urge for action is too addictive for most.

Think about this---what sensible poker player would play a hand knowing he/she is a 10% dog every time? Not many, certainly not many winners. That's what sports bettors do every time they place a bet. Here's another sad truth--the books could pay the bettor 10% for a winner and most would still be losers. That's how hard it is to beat sports betting.

John Sterling, the long time Yankees announcer said it best--"And people bet on this stuff...anybody who tries to predict a baseball game has to be crazy." He should know;he's seen enough of them.

 I'll be honest, not like most people on here. I will tell you the ONLY bet I had during the NBA finals. When the series was tied 2-2. I put 1k ( -220), to win 454 on OKC series. That's it, that's all I had. I'm not a degenerate. I don't need action everyday. And that was pretty sharp to me!
