When a game looks this obvious  Padres in disarray, Canning awful, Mets with the better arm  and the line is still only around Mets -130, the question becomes:

Bad offenses don’t stay dead forever. When a team loses 10 of 11 and gets shut out, the natural public reaction is to pile on the fade. But baseball is the devil’s playground.

And the answer is....

A short line can mean two things:

Short line the book is begging you to take Mets because San Diego is the sharper side.

Short line: the market is slow to fully punish San Diego tail spin because of name value and home field

I picked bourbon, Weller Antique for the old fashion I stirred up 15 minutes ago.

I definitely like this game, but I’m not doing anything until the lineups are released. Once i see the confirmed bats and the price holds, this has the potential to be a smash spot.

Everybody’s got different taste when it comes to drinks. Sometimes I want a scotch. Sometimes I want a whiskey neat. Miller lig Sometimes

But if you asked me, What’s my number 1 

For me, it’s an Old Fashioned.

Old Fashioned is simple it’s timeless. It’s strong, but smooth. It doesn’t try too hard. It lets the whiskey do the talking, but the bitters, sugar, and orange bring just enough balance to make it feel complete

I’ve lived in Vegas most of my life, and there are a million places in this town for a great night out.

For me, it doesn’t get much better than a perfectly made Old Fashioned and a good cigar.

I took a little tour through that world back in the ’80s. Cognacs are delicious, and while my palate has definitely changed over the years, they’re still amazing at times with a good cigar.
