just realize what a parlay is. . .how 'bout this, a freak injury is found out just before the 2nd game (or other further game) on ur parlay. because you had a parlay, you are locked in to ur pick. if there isn't that injury then you can always bet the first game's winnings + initial bet. cool either way, y'all pick winners. . .i'll interject my 2cents

You explained it, but if you collected on the two team parlay you could still throw all of it on the 3rd game if you wanted a big payout, or have the money and not have to wait weeks for the "right" pick. You're guaranteed to make at least as much without being forced to risk everything.
And it probably doesn't apply for three games, but if you play with 4+ teams you often lose money due to the parlay odds.
baby...i emphasize...parlays are FUN bets for me..i rather make a 3 teamer and leave one open where $10 wins closer to 50 than 25 or 26 on 2 teams...do i do a lot of those, no. maybe one every month or so...if i was betting $100 then i would play my 2 best plays in the parlay and roll with it.

agreed ....joey crawforshould NOT have taken the ball away from him as he prepared to shoot the 2nd FT...crawford could straighten out whatever mess there was at the scorers table after the 2nd attempt..i do believe that broke KD's concentration.

I know you're not going heavy, I'm just saying the logic applies either way.
But doing it my way does probably take away the FUN part you mentioned; there is no rush that comes with the appearance of the big payout.
So I think I understand you better. Its the psychological part (the FUN) that was eluding me.
