Tuesday WIZardry in The Sty

Corny topic name I know .


Lets get down to business though. This one is for the sty regulars
they will understand that Wizards are not only my home team / fav team/ and the team that I hate the most sometimes. A long season full of emotions chasing them and I love the fact that I am seeing them in the playoffs playing great against a team I though might possibly shut them down with there defense. But the total opposite is happening and Wizards are controlling this one bulls have been chasing behind wiz every game only to sneak in their little comebacks when Wiz have their ''drought quarter'' as I like to call them

you know the quarter where a team only hits about 14-19 the one that leaves you like WTF just happen. its usually in the 3rd quarter after a team has a good 1H and they are up. allowing the down team to sneak back in.

or when dunleavy has his game of the year. other than that
Wiz run this series.
Noah cant bang under the boards with big nene noah is great player but cmon man he is too frail to try and muscle up underneath
I dont want to get too deep into matchups but wiz have better players in every spot point blank.

I wanted to do a big writeup on this game but ill just save all the common sense things that anybody following this series already knows.
so lets look at the Wiz numbers cause thats all I want out of this one is points would love to see wiz win and I def dont see why they dont but who knows somebody outhere might want this series to drag on. Wiz might lay down bulls might flip the switch and all the sudden dominate wiz  do they cover the + 4.5 ??? pretty generous number.

so 5 dimes has WIZ TT at 45 1H... Reallly

lets look at wiz 1h numbers so far in this series

Game 1- 48 @ chicago
Game 2 - 56 @ chicago
Game 3 - 51 @ home

now lets look at wiz full game numbers .5 Dimes has the TT at 89.5

Game 1 - 102
Game 2 - 91 ( in regulation) 101 after OT
Game 3 - 97 ( anybody watch this game? last minute 30 circus shiet?,,, wall missing free throws etc.)
Game 4- 98

I know alot might say if it was that easy to cap a total by the past couple games points then shiet everybody would be banking. sometimes it is that easy and sometimes not. the only way that wiz do not hit atleast 94-99+ points is if they have a total shitt game where nothing is landing and the refs are on the bulls a game that makes you get all paranoid and start running around the house talking about how rigged fix this bs is and how wiz are laying down (believe me I know I do it atleast 3 times every wiz game) I want this game to be close I want wiz to be ahead by a few points going down to the wire so bulls start to panic and foul I need wiz to make their dam FT's too. (talking to you wall)



most dont play the buying points high juice etc f that I do these playoff numbers are sharp and have helped me a few times.
I plan on if I have the option to play it 89/88 take off the hook. and even 87 thrown in a parlay if I can.

Like I said these numbers feel a little off last game tt was 94.5 ish
the plan is if there is a ''unexpected'' game tonight out of wiz then I will be running it back in game 5 where Wiz put the nail in the coffin
I cannot see bulls winning this series unless wiz let them and from what I have seen so far wiz want this. I Lean heavy on the fg over as well bulls know only way to win against wiz is to run with them they cant rely on just defense it's not working. I am not basing this on just past few games numbers but also on the fact that this game will be physical one (wiz free throw % )

just fyi this might be the wrong game to play heavy on wiz TT or it might be the perfect game where they can end the series thats gamblin.

cant lie very sketchy about these numbers but cant be your own worst enemy when it comes to gambling and overthink and overthink.
already locked in I do know that bulls gameplan from what I read and what is bothering them is allowing wiz to get a lead in 1H I think that is gonna be their focus tonight. But I mean is anybody scared of the bulls defense at this point?
offense....augustine/leavy had great games other than that ? nothing
wiz should of blown them out 3 of those games but wiz love to fall asleep

Gibson....  I give him half a nod his old age and career is keeping him grinding

Noah the heart and soul of the team has been kept to about 10pts a game.
on top of that he is frustrated all game every game so far he knows he has nobody that can help him push it.
who else plays for them?

like I said I wont be shocked if WIZ either have a real good game or a real bad one any time I focus hard on one game and put up big bank it usually goes opposite maybe just bad spots who knows.
but I do know im not worried with a game 5 possibly to collect back. if things get funny.
and if they win but dont hit those points ehhh well then I was just wrong tons of play off games and mlb to get it back

I like the over but I need to watch the line movement cuz everyone is on the wizards

I might stay away from the total and just shoot for wiz making theirs

I think you should look more into okc TT than that gsw/clippers game too much bs going on in that series right now.

Current series is 3-1 for Washington.

Chicago would do its utmost to clinch and stay in the playoffs - so this time you can expect lots of defense.

Also 4 times ice cream doesn't mean the 5th is the same.

I am trying to so hard to avoid gambling in general but I actually placed $800 on the UNDER 183.5 tonight. I am quite confident about it, only the refs or rigged stuff can ruin it.

 I'm a huge clipper fan. I just don't see the clippers covering or at all winning the game cuz of the sterling thing. It feels weird in la and I just see them losing the series now. But we will see

Man I hear you, the series is over. Wizards win if not tonight then game six for sure. Noah even they got too many weapons. I've been on the wizards first qtr all season and they have been hitting I would say more than 70 percent.  I think they can get to the east finals honestly 

Why would you play the under? You have no reason to your playing the under because your expecting bulls defense to shut it down. Not a good reason they have not shown up as of late

@Dontknowhowtobe your forgetting one key element when it comes to capping nba totals and thats pace of play. John Wall and company are looking to push the ball up the court and even if the Bulls play lock down defense there is still a good chance they get over 90 points solely based on more possessions and you also gotta factor in the 3 point shot.

wiz first quarter has been money imo... little different situation facing a team backed in a corner, but none the less they may be +1

Yes, that's what I thought when I was betting 1-2 years ago on the NBA playoffs, losing so much than I could even expect.

Unfortunately there is always that game where your scenario "John Wall and Co. looking to push the ball" simply doesn't happen! They could be spending 30 seconds each time with the ball.

I've seen Washington scoring very points in a game, much less than 89!!! If that is so obvious they go over you think the odds-makers would leave it on 183.5 ?

The game is at night local time for me, I am not even going to watch it ... watching it is not going to determine the score. I am not sure why I took this bet, I do feel confident about it, but like every bet it has 2 possible ways it could end up either losing or winning!

The bookmaker I placed the bet with is now offering 1.88 on the OVER (was 1.96) so I'm considering of whether to take another same size bet on the OVER and in the worse case lose 12% of $800 (which is almost $100) or just go with those "chances".

This is how sick gambling is for me.
I am not going to sweat it nor going to cry if I lose or dance if I win ... gambling for me is something I despise and trying to avoid ...

Good write up Knight.  I've cashed on the side in 3 of the 4 games this series (laid off game 2).  This is a tough one b/c Wall & Beal never been in a close-out game...on the road no matter, but there is some experience on this team and their confidence has to be sky high.
