9-7 last week... 70-53-1 YTD... 27-10 POD's YTD 73%
 
We went 2-1 on Saturday with the POD hitting again in the Jazz game I promised u guys an underdog for Sat. POD pick if you've been reading everything I right and I delivered with one. Also that Nuggets game was a solid victory to between the both of em they were running up those scores the whole game...... as for that PHX pick I threw in their ... I let u guys down with that 1... Todays board is super Tough They stil have not released 3 of the games spreads just yet and I've been looking in particular at 1 of those as my POD... So Stay tuned for that pick...

I kind of controdicted myself with that last paragraph guys... I meant to say todays POD will Depend on those 3 games waiting to be released...

Hawks -1  ( I Think this is a good spot here to do what the knicks just did in the last game at the air canada center... And thats bring the raptors down from cloud 9.. The raptors have won 6 of their last 7 SU... With 5 of those victories coming against the Clips, Bucks, Thunder, Bulls(OT) & Knicks.... And the 1 unexplainable exception was that victory over the Magic as 10pt underdogs... Here I think the Hawks can be a team in a great spot to take advantage of a small number that seems to be a little lower than it should do to the Raps recent schedule and play... Hawks are the play...)

    Lakers -10  ( Good chance Kev Martin is out again also Hawes Ques... I believe they got this number wrong and this number will only get bigger... The kings have absolutley the worst D in the NBA even worse off than the Suns... Kobe and company should keep Sac Town in check all night in my opinion.... Also i might add the Lakers are 1-5 ATS their in last 6 so what better time to turn that number around with an ATS victory than 2day against the Kings... The lakers reserves should also have an advantage in this game...) POD

    News: The Sacramento Bee reports Kings guard Kevin Martin did not practice Monday. Martin, who has missed the last two games with a sore left ankle, is considered day-to-day. "His conversation to me was that he was really positive and he feels he will be ready to go," coach Kenny Natt said. "We are just monitoring him." Martin will be listed as questionable for Tuesday's game against the Lakers.
    Analysis: Martin will likely be a game-time decision for Tuesday's game. The Kings could be cautious when dealing with Martin since they have nothing to play for at this time. When healthy, Martin is a No. 2 Fantasy guard.

    With the expected line movement on the lakers game I would treat as a POD up to -12... after that i still feel confident they should cover the big number but if it gets crazy and goes past -12 which I hope it doesnt for everyones elses sake as I have already locked in @-10 as soon as it opened... Cause i know a lot of can't always get the play in right away...But after -12 just make it a smaller play thats all...

    Hey I was with you on the Hawks at first but looking at it closer I don't see how I am not playing Toronto here.  Hawks can't cover on the road and Toronto has been covering at home consistently.  You posted 4 trends with your write-up, but those were about the only 4 that supported taking the Hawks.  How about these:
     
  • Hawks are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games as a road favorite.
  • Hawks are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 road games.
  • Hawks are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games overall.
  • Hawks are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games as a road favorite of 0.5-4.5.
  • Hawks are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 vs. NBA Atlantic.
  • Hawks are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 vs. Eastern Conference.
  • Raptors are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games overall.
  • Raptors are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 after scoring 100 points or more in their previous game.
  • Raptors are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 home games vs. a team with a losing road record.
  • Raptors are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of less than .400.

    • I can't believe the Raptors aren't favored here. A team that isn't covering on the road against a hot team at home and they are laying 1??

    Their is definetly room for good argument on this game making a proactive bet today though on though Hawks -1 thinking this a good spot for the Raptors to float back down to earth against a good team... Instead of being Reactive and betting on the Raptors+1 @ home due to their 6 out 7 ATS covers... That board was tough 2day... No doubt...... Believe my friend I'd see those trends... But sometimes as a handicapper you just like some certain trends over other ones meaning the ones i posted with my pick stick out as having more importance to my hanycapping eye.... Also remember (i'm sure you know this though) for every trend we find as cappers if we dig hard enough we can find so many to balance all of them out most of the time...     Fuck It ill stick with the Hawks, too.  I know all too well that for every good trend you find you can find one opposing you.  I just cannot see how we are getting the line we are.  Hell that may be reason enough for me to hit Atl.

    look closly at those recent wins... besides Orlando which was a meltdown game for the magic the raptors have not beat anyone special....... BOL... they needed OT vs the bulls... Those two loses to Bobcats stick out really bad they got hammered twice and i believe the Hawks are slightly better than the Bobcats all around... i'm being Pro-active here so good luck to others on Opposite side...
